Hey, I just re upped my account after a long time and downloaded the game onto my new PC. When I go to start it I get a message about eqgame.exe or something. PC is i7 920 Vista Home premium 64 bit. GTX 260 vid card. Any thought on how I can get it running??

I found this post by a support rep with tips on running  EQ  in Vista.

Also   - do  you have  DX9c installed?
