So my guild does WoE last week now normally we just clear our timers and zone in, this time my timer ran out before i could clear and we zoned in. i was still in raid voice chat but my screen went black.

so i relogged when i get back in to my surprise.... (note we have never gotten past digg before)

and yes once he attacked he ported our raid to him followed by a horrible wipe. but we had a great laugh over it

(and yes i know my UI looks sloppy but i play pretty damn well with it so boo to you)

I was actually thinking 2 things....

1.) I thought my graphics were bad.... O.o

2.) wth...3 hotbars? What class is that....I use 9 on my templar. =/

1. in raid i play on extreame performance

2. paladin but thats only becuase i took time to refine it, all my buffs are in my knowlage book as their all perma buff i just hit k and memorized were they are. i have an open slot (see the necro heart slot) that i switch around for pots or other temp or changeable items in some very rare cases i can switch out my stances (2 nect to the necro heart) if theirs a need for something extra. with my hotbar setup breaking 5-6k in ter 2 gear isnt unheard of i average about 4k dps and being a paladin have agro control of a champ and am acually fairly well respected on my server for being one of the better tanks expecialy concidering my gear (i run a regular ferzual group). that said talk to almost any other player regardless of class and they will have normally atleast 5 4 if their running thin but thats only do to addedd complexitys like temp buffs and clicky gear which the one or 2 peices of clicky gear i have, have been memorized in position in my bags and are done manually.

3. my playstyle is quite diffrent from basically then entire player base im sitting at 182 aas with 130ish quests done (like 200 acual but done before aa came out) and have killed literally almost every named in game minus tso raid named and the second half of vp (over 2000)

This happens to at least one of our party members every week it seems. I don't find it funny. Just another thing to waste time, like zoning in to raid zones only to be greeted by "This instance has expired".

Must be, I seriously don't know how someone could raid with that setup. I play a Paladin as well, and that configuration looks so minimal as to be dysfunctional, at least with TSO fights. /shrug

Yes, this is a known exploit to get to Aiden without doing the rest of the content.

Basically the 'safe spot' you get sent to if you fall thru world, or other annoying 'features' is right by Aiden.  Then of couse Aiden was changed to prevent you from sending a whole group to the boulders before pulling him, so on engage he summons the ENTIRE zone to him.

Note I said ZONE. Even if the person ported up there drops raid, if he engages aiden, everyone is ported to him.

Bug, feature, depends on your point of view I guess.

That's awesome, never knew that he would pull up the entire zone. But sending a whole group to pick rocks before the pull? Really? I mean, the encounter is fairly trivial as is, I can't imagine why any marginally competent raid would need to do this.

Hell, the whole zone is basically a loot vending machine.

to be fair we had a 4th healer who was ld and a brig but its all we can scramble togeather from our alliance or else it would be 6 tanks 3 healers and maybe a necro or 2. casuals man casuals

How in the world you play like that is beyond me.  That screen is a jumbled mess...

Bet you never thought this would turn into a thread about how jacked up your screen is and how messed your hotbars are. Hitting "k" to rebuff and flipping through your knowledge book is crazy. I bet you are the one the whole raid is waiting for as you rebuff from your knowledge book.

Probably not. Still probably waiting on a healer or a summoner. Maybe that was the idea ... make it take a bit more time so you have to wait less on others.

Still ... I notice that the spinners are on the bars that ARE there. Seems like an easier solution would be cycling to a bar containing the buffs and casting them from there.

acually im the first one done rebuffing if i die even midfight takes me about 10 seconds as a paladin i have 4 buffs i have to throw up 5 if im useing donation and as said i know were they are in my book its just K click click click page plip click. id reduces clutter so i canacually see the game which is why i still use the defaul ui as custom ones such as profit extreame and fetish are to cluttered for my taste, the only thing that does have any negitive effect is switching pots around in woe but as said normally takes me about 5 seconds and mobs are normally fairly specific on their dots. given my level 54 assassin is at 4 hotbards already and by 80 will probobly still be at a minimum of 6. i do have 3 more hotbars i use for my dps spec which is why the spinners are their
