Just curious as to what the server looks like now.  My wife and I played for years on MF.. anyone still around?

Well, I do and there are plenty of others but the server is sparse in comparison to CLW.  I only started again recently and dual box a few sets of mid lvl characters.  It is easy to lvl with a set of two with Hagley Boon and no fighting for camps really.  Good luck.

Yeah I figured as much.  We have the ability to quad box.. and a couple accts full of raid toons but if the MF community is pretty much dead not sure there's a point.

Stopped playing about a year and a half ago.. just after the ZP release when everyone started migrating over to CLW. With the serious lack of MMO RPG's on the PS3 and none scheduled to be released anytime soon I'm considering EQOA again.

Any active guilds still around by chance?

Yes, there are some active guilds (Wizards First Rule and some others) that are still active and recruiting.  Not many ppl in MF seem to participate on the board tho so you might be better off going in game and hitting BW, Arcadin, etc.

Hi Rumixx. Nice to see you're coming back. We were guilded in IFoT for about 2 years or so. I recently made the move to CLW and let me tell you, It's changed the game for me. My intrest is at an all time high. I highly suggest you move to CLW, have fun making your toons again, meet new people and friends. Ill help you get started.

There's a familiar person.. how ya been?  Reactivated my accounts last summer and started a few toons on CLW but that's about as far as it went before I jumped back on my PS3.

Not a whole lot goin on next-gen other than a ton of FPS and turn based imports.. heh.  Could get back into EQ but I have no idea what's been going on the last year and a half.. almost 2 years.. got a lot of researching to do I guess.

There any xp boost items currently?  What else has been going on in-game?

Hagley boon I mentioned before is a 4x xp boost available at an announcement signpost in all starting cities for 1k that lasts for many hours. And many hunt and gather quests to rebuild your toons.

Welcome back Noods, if your intereted in playing on MF still we are working on building Wizards First Rule up to be able to raid. Tried CLW but not being able to get any named mobs turned me away from that server, unless your in one of the big raid guilds good luck there. Everything is camped, on MF you can find a raid mob up or named almost any time. Either way you go it's nice to see people back on the game.

Heh.. yeah I remember boon.. so that's on live servers for good now as well?  Hmm.. tough decision.  It's nice to be around a population like CLW but on the other hand I do miss raiding and I know virtually nobody on CLW, with the exception of a few old school MF'rs that migrated over.  Might make it tough to grind up some toons again, cm'd to a comfy lvl, snag an epic etc..

We did reactivate our accounts last summer briefly but MF was way too quiet.. think it was pretty much still KT raiding.. not a whole lot else going on.  Guess I'll just have to log on and check it out myself.  Thanks for the feedback to the few who responded.. It's cool people are still around.
