*sighs* i think that my advice should be if ur not a 50, dont pvp unless u have a death wish
ok i guess ill just have to get to 50 by next week since im not doing missions and ill only go to 01 to lvl
Had a duel the other day with a 47 who told me he would beat me. He didn't but I was surprised by how good he was with his build. He was using 2 abilities from hacker to lower my CT to bring me down to his level so he could beat me.
Point is, If you are smart and original with your build design you will be able to beat 50s, hell i even managed to kill a 50 at 36 (admitedly with hacker but wth). You just have to look for peoples weaknesses and be able to strike at them.
PvP with 50s is not impossible when you are not 50.
For those of you on Vector (and Enumerator before that) you might recall that there have been some rather useful PvPer that were lower than 50. I'd like to think I was one of them. Here's what I did, and what I would suggest that anyone who wants to get in and mix it up early do:
1. Aquire and level assassin.
2. Aquire and level Disguise.
3. Get a disguise (a cool one like "Agent" or "SWAT")
4. Roll with a few of your buds that are 50 or near that.
5. Basically when the battle starts hang back and circle around the badies. Pick one out and hit him with your best assassin special.
6. Roll out ASAP.
7. Use that Weakness Analyzer Tool you have and never used.
8. Run back away from the battleand don your disguise.
9. Roll up on the same dude and hit him with your second best assassin move.
10. Roll out.
Now granted you're not going to get a lot of solo kills. You'll need help vs. a level 50, but that's a decent way to get into PvP with the big dawgs and make a difference. I did it since level 42 and had good success with it. There is a down side however. If you get caught in interlock with a 50, you might as well go afk for a drink, cause most times, it isn't pretty as a level 42 v. a 50.
Other option is go Doc and be the team healer/buffer. That always makes a difference.
Your other option is Doc or Force Mutiplier.
In our faction we have a few lower level folks (35-40 or so) and when the PvP battles start up these people load up support builds. They generally hang back and avoid combat and drop in healing and buffs to help the front line people keep the battle going. Extra regen rate, healing, CT buffs, all that helps out in the battle, and of course Revive RSI is a great thing. Saves the reconstruction time and puts your team member back into the battle ASAP.
Also consider the recall mission team or mission team members. I forget what level you need to be for those, but that's invaluable to pull the team back to a point to reapply buffs or regroup for the next push in a battle.
I hope this helps. Remember we all sucked for a while.
I always have any abilties related to doctor loaded when im in pvp
and i always buff myself kuz if i buff a fellow zionist in pvp then the mervs will come after me first
