Well they did create the person solely responsible for the research. Intended or not, that is a contribution in the whole scheme of it.

It may not mean anything to the Cypherites, but Machinists look out for the safety of the simulation and it's occupants. It is our methods that are different. That is the source of this recent pissing contest, which is really getting on my nerves now. Argue via PM's not on a public forum.

It would be far more beneficial for the research to be done by both parties but then that would mean the Cypherites have no bargaining chip in the future. If you think about it, joint research would be done a lot quicker and more efficiently and would save lives and stability of the simulation a lot quicker than the progress already been made. So by keeping it to yourselves, yes you are keeping the bargaining chip, but you are allowing the simulation and it's occupants to remain at risk longer. So what is it you're really wanting? Stability of the simulation or a bargaining chip?

Oh, and just to put a lid on this useless back and forth: Your opinion on the Cypherites? Dead wrong. And it forever will be.

Other than the homocidal part. We do actually do the dirty work.

Testing new drugs and making sure that the Matrix system is still unsafe, that's reall good dirty work Tranta....Why don't just drop a bomb in here  like Cryptos was about to do, then there wouldn't be anything to worry about in the future and you could go to sleep in peace. End of story?

Sometimes  most of the time you really don't think about the consequences of your actions Tranta and someday it will payback big time.

I'll take my chances with Lady Luck and her wheel until then.

The Machines are liars and never respected our organization to begin with. Your lucky to be getting a bargaining chip if it was up to some of us half of your organization would be lined up and executed.

Respect has to be earned, not taken. Also, you're the ones gaining a bargaining chip, not the Machines or Machinists. On a similar vein, if it were up to some of us, all of your organisation would be disposed of.

Yes I suppose finding New Zion while Machinists played strategical patty cake isn't worth the Machines respect.

As far as a chip I know what we have and what we dont. What we have  is a chance to bleed the Machines dry not because we want to but because we have to... Remember what happened last time we gave them the benifit of the doubt?

Were well aware the Machinists resent us. We never cared about saving the future this organization was founded on the belief that someday over the rainbow we would get our payoff. Fact of the matter is we didn't... This is a second chance now the ball is in our court and I hope we make some of you pay before we decide to do your organizations dirty work yet again.

Most of the time, I pretty much refuse to participate in this stupid vendetta.  I want New Zion destroyed, I think 01 does too, so whatever you do to further that goal, great.  Let's be pragmatists here.

And by "let's" I mostly mean machinists.  Especially Proc, who shows the maturity level of a 12 year old when dealing with us.  But the rest of you too, who consider yourselves purists, idealists, the "good guys."  Get over yourselves and do your job.

Our job is done when there a no more Cypherites around...and it looks like our wish has come true. Soon you will just be a rat in megacity that the machines wants' to remove from the system. Why? You have no purpose anymore.

Well you just might want to get back to work because you won't be rid of us anytime soon.

That's an interesting point of view, even though it's a stretch to state the Machines created the man doing the research. This is hardly the truth as Cryptos is more like a result of a Machine failure, not something they designed and intentionally produced. It's quite likely they would have just terminated him had they ever thought he might one day not be under their direct control.

It is the naive point of view that believes that this is the end of the Cypherites.

It'd be bright and sunny out if there were no Cypherites.

But I still don't see the sun.

So I still have work to do.
