Coming Back to the game, looking for a crew to help me get back in the swing.

I've been gone from the game for a long time. I just reinstalled it and am waiting for the the game to finish all its updates. When I left I believe my RSI was in the 30s level wise cant remember excatly. I Played a lot as a coder and some as a gunner. I realize a lot has changed since I have left and I'm probably going to be lost when I get back in. I'm hoping i can find a faction/crew that is willing to take on a mid level super-newb and help me get reaquainted with the game and the proper gear and all that.

I was and would like to remain merv oriented. I'm interested in eventually PvPing when my toon level and gear and all that reach an appropriate platform. I'm team oriented player.

Thanks for that helpful post. I have no idea whats for or not for warcraft never played it. Anyway my RSI is that more appropriate.

When your Merv rep is -1 you will be kicked out from any faction or crew that you are in. And you can join another one aligned with Zion or The Machines.

Ok first peice of advise is dont join zion if this is one of the reasons your coming back they cant pvp in teams for some reason they just find it difficult I know this because this is the reason I left Zion so join a machine or merv faction.

Also the merv community on syntax is tiny so you might want to reconsider you will very rarley have the advantage in pvp

If your going machine then I recommend Systematic chaos, however if the life of luxury takes you by the tummy, then either Consequence, Cause and effect, New world order. The Merovingian population is small but gradually working to improve itself. You could also check out Binary flux.. a small group or mervs that have started to look out for new meat. ;)

No, nothing like that happens. You can have minimum merv rep and still remain with your merv crew, as long as you joined before your rep went sour (since, like, you can't join afterwards).
