Fly in Amber

At one point I thought all of the issues were worked out, but it seems as though it still doesn't work properly.

When I equip this item, I am forced to wait the re-use timer before I can use it for the first time. Thank you for looking into this matter.

The wait time is by design after equiping it.

It hurts you, but also gives you some IS yellow stuff in case you are out SMILEY

It robs of health to restore inner strength. It was a reward item for coming thru The Death of The Destroyer event with your pixels intact. You don't have to equip it to use it. Right-click Activate Item from your Inventory, then equip it if you want to. I'm not sure but I think that if you hotbar it, hitting the hotbutton will equip it and start the cool down timer running without giving you IS. Hitting the hotbutton when it is equipped activates it.

P.S. Thank you devs for fixing the cool down timer display on this item.

I always just drop it onto my hotbar and use it. I don't equip it first and it uses fine.

Mine is in a hotbar too. When I click it (and it's not equipped at this point), it just turns gray but I don't get the buff. (which is supposed to happen according to 9mmfu) You must leave yours equipped, and your re-use timer wears off before you use it.

Ahhh, thanks. I knew it was an item that came out long before my time, but that was the extent of my knowledge.

Is there any difference in using it when its equiped or just activating it from the inventory?

No difference if used from the Inventory or when Equipped.
If you are going to hotbar it, pre-equip it before hand because the first hit of the hotbutton will equip it, not give you any IS and disable it for the length of the cool-down timer, while if it is equipped and you hit the hotbutton, you get the IS.
