Hey, now you get to say "I own page 202 of the 'Ask the devs' thread." Moreover, I agree that inter-org conflict is what makes the story. We don't need a League of Nations dumbing us down...

Yes, EPN and Cypherites do need their dose of story attention from time to time since they started out promising. Inter-org relationships or tension is an equally interesting aspect as elements (particularly threats) "from outside" in my opinion, and have already played some role in the past storyline -- glad it gets focus once again.

What changes are you looking forward to make as far as execution of Live Events or story in general with the larger freedom of creativity you will be receiving in the story? Uhh well that is by no means a certain thing yet. I didn't have much from Paul story-wise that needed to get done in 6.2, though, so with the next batch of crits I've been taking the opportunity to get back to some of the old fashioned Zion-Machine tension that hasn't really been seen since...oh, maybe since Morpheus was killed. Oh, and also working on defining the relationships between Zion/EPN and Machine/CYPH, which I think have been left too vague up to this point. Ah, also fleshing out some of the neighborhood mission contacts a bit more. Thats sweet man definitely has been way to vague. Agreed. Didn't resub just to say that, did you? Nope

Rarebit, i know this may have been brought up before. I wanted you to check this post out and see if these changes to the Faction window could be implimented without totally making it a big change for you to work on. Also with the email, would an address book ever be implimented so we can make group emails a lil bit easier?

I might have even asked it in here once. Seems that it's a low priority on the list if it's even there.

For future quotage: Rarebit, are there any plans to review or update the Eula/ToS/etc or any other 'permissions' documents related to the Matrix in any or all of it's forms?

Do you have any plans of reverting the cinematics to ingame cinematics?
Also if youve read on the Dev Roundtable, is there any plans or possibiltiys of improving the loading area?

When will this game become remotely like the films? The Combat is nothing like the films and it seems its more based of a horror film the Matrix with all the Zombies, Vampires etc, that was only hinted at in the film, not a dominant part of it.

Hmm...the ghostly Twins...the vampires and lupines in the movies/Enter the Matrix...the Oracle saying that vampires, werewolves, aliens, etc was all programs doing what they weren't supposed to do. Yeah, that's a bit more than a hint.

Well, the horror is one of the genres the Matrix likes to be inspired by. The Twins with their transparent skeleton spirits and grim mugs are an example in the movies. However, Monty's right in some way. The Oracle's remark is really just a hint. The vampire movie / silver bullet kill in "Reloaded" isn't that obvious, aswell. However, more obvious are the dobermen/vamps in the Chateau in "Enter the Matrix", which you can count as fully valid canon. But the main thing, these appearences were really supposed to be foreign to the Matrix and hidden. In MxO, vampires go about in the streets and Lupines basically fight you in every mission. I guess that was the direction the Wachowskis wanted to go with this game (aswell as introducing hacker combat etc.) - but fact is, it does drift from the movies. Some don't like it.

Ever thought of adding a "Live Event Discussion Thread" where people could discuss what they liked or didn't like about certain events and a place where you could post about your experiences and other players interactions during the events. That "Can you say overkill" thread was a good example of discussions that could go on in the thread.

What do you think of this, is something like this feasible any time soon?: http://forums.station.sony.com/mxo/..._id=36300005668

People post there IC aswell as discuss the events OOC. The overkill thread was just a precocious one to the following thread in the LE forum.
