These are really good. I think there needs to be an update on the "Signature Making/Training" threads because some of these people's pictures seem to be even in better shape than before. This is one for example.
Here! here! We REALLY need an update for tutorials as the artwork has just become even more realistic than before. The last shot Tenshi did is amazing, love the way her hairline looks! SMILEY

Whoa. Who dat'?

"Every day harsh realities are made apparent to me when I jack into the simulation.  The best I can do is brace myself for what will inevitably come; violence, pain, war...

But for that brief moment I let my guard down.  Like a peek above the clouds, I could feel human again.  There is still beauty in this world...you just have to know where to look..."

Voice 2: "Maybe we should meet with them, perhaps they could shed some light on the current events."

A rakshasa, alternately rakshas or raksha is a demon or unrighteous spirit in Hindu and Buddhist mythology.  Rakshasas are also called man-eaters or cannibals.

(Ripped paper found in the bunk of an EPN hovercraft.  The writing is barely legible chickenscratch)

...It was a windy night, the kind of wind that bites into your ribs no matter how heavy a jacket you wear, when we got the call to investigate a restaurant in Shinjuku.  Apparently a couple of our comrades had gotten into a bind fighting off some lupines in the area.  "They need your help quick, their getting overhwelmed in there," said our operator over the comm.

Cautiously approaching the building we stopped to listen for anything that could better inform us of the situation.  All we could hear was a dripping sound....wait, there was something else...a sharp intake of breath could be heard and then sobbing...what the hell was going on in there I thought.  The comm startled me as it crackled to life, "Uhm guys, we're having some problems with the jack-in station, you need to find them now!"  Jack-in station...problems, oh no, that meant no emergency jackout procedure...spurred by the newfound urgency of the situation we broke cover and rushed into the restaurant...I still have nightmares about what I saw...

The first thing that hit me was the smell, a stiff blow to my stomach as I stopped in my tracks from the crippling wave of nausea.  Then there was this humid, sticky feel to the air...as my eyes adjusted to the flickering illumination of a single fluorescent light dangling from it's wires I reeled back in shock and disgust, slipping on the wet floor, drenched in blood.  I caught a glimpse of the bodies strewn about, crew members and lupine alike draped over the tables like wet laundry...

The operator was screaming at me through my comm but I couldn't make out a single word, I was rushing back to my partner but there was nothing.  Screaming his name I was interrupted by a shrill, bloodcurdling scream as a spurt of blood hit me square in the face.  Stunned for a second I was already too late as a heavy fist slammed into my jaw turning my vision into a kaleidescope of color.  "Go to hell!" I screamed at my attacker.  "Eventually, " whispered a masked man into my ear...

And then I was back on my hovercraft, letting out a sigh of relief at the waking from a terrible nightmare I coughed, spitting up blood on my shirt.  "Whoa whoa whoa, take it easy, you got a lot of internal bleeding going on, man." Looking up I could see the grim face of my captain and my heart sank...it happened...

And it happens over and over again in my sleep...I can't wait to get home.  While I feel terrible for my fallen comrades, I can't help but feel lucky that I made it out alive.  Maybe I'll finally take advantage of my extended leave...

"It is a choice, that each of us must face: to remain ordinary,

pathetic,

beat-down,

coasting through a miserable existence, like sheep herded by fate,

or you can take control of your own destiny and join us, releasing the caged wolf you have inside.

Our purpose is to maintain stability in an unstable world - kill one,

save a thousand.

Within the fabric of this world, every life hangs by a thread.

We are that thread."

Thoughts/Notes:

The quote is from the movie, "Wanted."

A lot of these screenshots you can thank Rarebit for (Assorted Dev Screenshots or LE posts), and one or two of them come from Bayamos and HostileIntention.  Two of the screenshots I edited were taken by myself.

Just so you know there isn't an exact sequence the pictures are supposed to go in, it is just a series of images from my own recent experiences in the Matrix (every screenshot has me in it somewhere except for the one at the end).  The gist of the quote is more about joining the Machines, to myself at least, however it can be easily be interpreted as a push to be a redpill in general.  And no, the division of the quotes is not relevant to each picture, it is more where it felt like the quote should be divided up that there is a picture.

Beautiful work Tenshi, there's just something about the mood of those shots that can't be defined but tastes great.
