I also want to apologize for being so negative, but do you blame me?  Do you blame us?  I invested my money for two years straight so that I could go to the SOE Fanfaire so I could represent my game.  The treatment of our game, and ourselves as paying players is downright horrible.  You hype up the the SOE Fanfaire on our very website, and expect us to be all "don't worry be happy" about it???  Stop insulting us.  If you want to make us happy show us some honest to goodness support and love.  W .T. F. is going on over there, that you ignore us so much!

I'm serious. We should raid the Fanfair. . .hack all the booths and game demos to launch MxO, plaster Morpheus Lives! posters everywhere, disrupt the big Everquest Love-in with a Matrix-style ambush, and just generally cause some Matrix-style mayhem. . .

Im going to laugh when RL agents are going to come after yall for threatening to assault SOE and bomb their place :p I knew you were all terrorist hippies.

well im going no matter what soe put on for us.  im hoping to see a few of you there last year was a good turnout.  but if not many turn up ill just hit the tables and try and win the cost of my holiday back.  Im hoping soe put something on for MxO at least.  Also i think I'll sign up as part of Les infants hopefully we can get 10 people.  Maybe Virrago could put a post in here clearing some things up with only 7 weeks to go I'd think at least something must be planned

I'm not going for the game, i'm going for the people. Lets be honest in a year from now most of us won't talk to each other unless we put in the extra effort to do so.

This is my chance to meet people I have been talking to for years and form a bond that is outside of the game.

Despite being a Machinist at heart I do think plastering posters and detonating code bombs will help fix all of our problems.

When the Agents do come we will all be slaughtered like Mouse did but that's okay...RSI reboot for the win!

I reckon SOE are going to announce MxO's closure at Fan Faire, and there are probably a couple of people in SOE stupid enough to think that's a good idea too. But when the press hear about it, they'll rail against SOE proper. No matter that they'll barely have heard of MxO; the story of a (comparatively) small group of players going to Fan Faire only to hear their game is to be shut down (in front of jeering players from other games) will get attention, and isn't going to reflect well on the powers that be.

As a Vegas native.  I support this thread.

What does one do to get into this event? Is it invite only?

Maybe I just need to not be so lazy and read the thread.

EDIT: What will MXO bring for a birthday present?  An Elfs head in a box?
