The reviews are going well so far, though it's clearly not a blockbuster. I already know I'm going to enjoy the game, so my only hope is that it sells well enough that they make the planned sequels.

True, but that won't stop me. I always wanted something like this (1st person) since I've played Tomb Raider (third person). And yes, sequels or expansions for Mirror's Edge, heck, maybe even a prequel with Faith's Master or something.
Her... Master?
Looking at this list of reviews, the average is something like 8.3/10, which is just grand. So far the main complaints I've seen are that it's too fiddly, and consequently the reviewer wasn't very good at it. This means two things: firstly that people who can move with more agility will enjoy the game more than the reviews suggest, and secondly that it'll undoubtedly do better on the PC. The analogue sticks may work alright in general FPSs (though not in my experience, 'cos I suck), but probably aren't sensitive enough for a game like this.
I also saw one review that said that an online leaderboard would make the game better. Uh, it has a leaderboard, idiot. He must not have so much as glanced at the main menu. Gotta be careful with these reviewers sometimes.
Incidentally, if anyone is wondering why I'm being critical of the reviewers (you know, you're thinking: 'if you don't like their reviews, why read them?', it's because I don't want to see a bad score on Metacritic. If that score goes south, less people buy the game. The less people buy the game, the less likely it is that we get more Mirror's Edge goodness in the future.
just read the First DLC will come first to ps3 early Next year

The reviews are pretty much confirming the impression I got from the demo, so they aren't really surprising to me. I, of course, wish they were higher for the reasons Proc has stated, but I'll be giving the full version a try when I get the chance regardless.
The guy who taught her parkour, never seen the comic-video of that?
Yeah, I know who you mean: Mercury. It just sounded funny.
was watching the comercial for it. It even peaked my fiance's interest. So looks like i might pick it up.
In time for my review...

Now I must get back to playing.
