The Kid has put out an invitation to join his group, E Pluribus Neo.

This offer is similar to what has been going on for the past week with Cryptos and his Cypherite faction tags. So most of the following will be a repeat of that post, only with "E Pluribus Neo" instead of "Cypherite" and "Zion" instead of "Machines."

As you know, the E Pluribus Neo will not be playable as an Organization. However, we have worked out a way by which factions can obtain public recognition of their allegiance to the E Pluribus Neo cause.

Read The Kid's invitation linked above carefully. It includes the name of The Kid's liaison officer on your server.

A Zion-aligned faction applying in this way to the liaison may ask for a special E Pluribus Neo tag to be added to their faction name. Once the liaison has approved your faction for membership, they will send the name of your faction leader, or selected representative, to SOE Customer Service.

Please note that your faction must be Zion-aligned, and must wait for the E Pluribus Neo liaison on your server to contact Customer Service on your behalf. Customer Service will ignore requests for faction tags that do not come from the liaison.

After the liaison contacts Customer Service with your faction's name tag request, a Customer Service technician will locate your faction's representative in-game, and arrange a time for the tag to be added to the faction name. Changing the tag requires that all members of the faction are logged out of the game at a certain time. If the tag attempt fails because someone in the faction was not logged out, you will have to arrange for another attempt with Customer Service. It may take up to a week to be contacted by Customer Service, as they have kindly volunteered to do this service for us on top of the vital duties they perform in keeping the servers a safe place to play.

Once the tag is successful, the name and faction name above your character's head will look something like this:
<div align="center">
<strong><span style="color: #44e2e1">Charactername - Zion
<My_Faction -</span> <span style="color: #ffd42d">EPN</span><span style="color: #44e2e1">></span></strong>
</div>

The tag will be visible to your faction immediately, but will not be visible to players outside your faction until the server restarts. There is a limit of 41 characters, visible or invisible, on faction names. The blue EPN tag adds 20 characters, since it includes two spaces, a dash, and 14 invisible color coding characters. Therefore, any faction with a name longer than 21 characters will need to come up with a shorter version of their name when asking for a tag.

If you want to have the tag removed, you will have to go through the same time-consuming process of contacting the liaison, who will contact Customer Service, and arrange a time, etc. So please keep in mind that what is done, is not easily undone, and you should not request this tag lightly.

This tag does not change PVP; you will still be considered Zion org for PVP purposes, and will be "Friendly" to all Zion characters, whether or not they have a matching EPN tag.

Please note that this tag only applies to factions; tags will not be added to individual or crew names. Those wishing to participate in the E Pluribus Neo group in a less public manner are still encouraged to contact your server's E Pluribus Neo liaison and see what sort of secretive activities or functions may be available.

And a reminder: the E Pluribus Neo faction tag will be available only for Zion-aligned factions. This restriction is for storyline and PVP reasons. Thank you for your patience, and good luck to those wishing to join E Pluribus Neo!

I'm guessing it's because the devs don't have the current resources available to make new organization specific missions and storyline.

Considering the fact that the merovingian is not covered by the truce, nor has he done anything to help it, infact hes done things in his power to destroy it, its pretty justifyable that we are on everyones hit list.

As for "getting something out of this" the story for those splinter factions is that they are rebelling from there parent organizations. So, Zion and the machines are having internal issues while the merovingian remains a constant, thats actually a good thing.

Well, us Mervs don't have any public splits.  Last time that happened, he called in the executioner.  Betrayal equates to death.

This is true. Besides, who would lead it?

Flood? I cant think of anyone off hand that likes him.

Ookami? Shes still remembering what happened the last time she did something against the merv

Malphas? Look up to Ookami

Pheophone? She does have a following, but if you follow her names mytho, she cant leave her husband.

Invalesco did try, look what happened.

I think we actually got a great deal during this whole time. I mean it was the mervs vs zion during the first year. We took out Morpheus and all that jazz. Right now, theres no reason for the merovingian organization to split. No story line reason.

The ONLY group I could think of, would be the commandos seeing as they themselves are exiles. However they are in league with Zion so things would get dicy in pvp.

Im not saying I want a mero split I mean I just want something good to finally happen to us instead of it allways going to Zion or the few times it went to the machines.

How would the merv org splitting be good for us?

If anything the Zion and Machines org splitting is good for us, good innerfighting.

I agree with Metas. The Frenchmen should get something, maybe a new Exile could show up? I was once Zion, and believed in Neo very much, however, the Frenchmen pays better and bones persephone all the time.
