OK, I stole this off my post in Gothique's thread up in general discussion. It is for a spy branch called Ninjitsu.
Ninjitsu - The current Assassin tree looks like a wrestler developed it. Lets get some classic ninja spy moves like...
Enhanced Stealth - Targets cannot see the stealthed player unless within a 2 m radius.
Movement speed would be 80%
IS Cost - 10
Min lvl 35
Ability must be leveled for full effect!
Throat Slice - The Ninja sneaks behind the enemy and slices their throat, code pours out.
1000 damage
45 second re-use
Pre-req Enhanced Stealth 37
Min Level 37
Backstab - The Ninja stabs the enemy in the back.
850 damage
Causes stunned, offbalanced, and staggered for 15 seconds.
60 second re-use
Pre-req Enhanced Stealth 40
Min level 40
Spinal Snap - The assassin snaps the target's neck.
1500 damage
15% chance of instant death
80% chance of stun
Re-use 100 seconds
Pre-req Enhanced Stealth 45
Min level 45
Terminate Connection - Like Disrupt Connection but better!
0 damage
If Successful, 75% chance of sending the target back to the loading area!
If Successful but out of the 75%, target is massivly debuffed in MCT, RCT, VD, and VT.
Min lvl 47
Ability must be leveled for full effect!
Master Ninja - The class master
50 pts stealth
Toughness 15%
Min level 50
This would branch off the current Assassin so players could either go down Master Assassin or Ninjitsu

Why? It would be a rival for Master Assassin which is powerful in it's
own accord. Ever seen someone who has been bulldogged twice in a row?
Instant death!

that would be really tough if only spies didn't have to worry about sneak attack tactics. I swear, I haven't landed a single sneak attack since that was implemented!
Though that spinal snap would be pretty awesome to see, throat slit would have to be more discreet. The only reason this game fetched a T rating was because there was no blood.
And would you get CQ for sending someone back to the loading area?

I doubt it, but it would come in handy in construct battles. Disrupt Connection used to do that, but it got changed before Live.

Remag, I love ya man, but I've dealt bulldogs that did 2800 damage before. 1500 DMG isn't too powerful at all.
RogueA, I love the ideas man. Keep 'em coming.
Here's my contribution:
Enhanced Invisibilty
- allows player to run in an upright position thus allowing jumps and hyperjumps.
Granted it's what we once had, but there's nothing wrong with wishing on a star that it comes back.

If you were hit with a 2800 damage bulldog with a base damge of 1000-1300 (cant remember the numbers) then think if you are hit with a move of 1500 base damage. If you look at it from that viewe then yes that is too powerful, thats like a 1 hit kill move.

A bulldog does 1,750 base damage but it tends to do alot
more sometimes. Anyone who is double bulldogged is instantly killed as
well.

Honestly, it's so hard to PvP as a spy that I'm very open to some enhancements here. I'm great against NPC's, but human martial artists two or three levels below me can take me pretty easily.

The role of an assassin in PvP is offensive support. You creap around in the shadows while your teammates are interlocking folks and you jump in with the finishing blow, roll out and rinse/repeat.
You're not meant to survive in interlock as a spy. Get in, get off a super move and haul *CENSORED*.
Also, it's best to know your moves and what they can do. Hit an opponent with Topsy Turvy for temporary pacification or a reverse bulldog for a quick stun. Use Freedom to Joints on a Duelist to help disarm them for your Martial Arts buddy. And etc...
Bulldog and Freedom to Joints are cool, but dramatic moves. By the time the move is completed you could be hit by enemy fire/hacks/knives.
<A LONG time ago in beta back when all moves only used up only 1 memory slot, you could have multiple trees. For instance, I was a Kungfu Grandmaster Assassin with 90% of the Master Shadow tree as well.
I could run in with a bulldog and immediately finish you off with a Misdirect Punch (pre-nerfed it did nearly 800 damage). :robotvery-happy: >

Spinal Snap... Haha, if wrestlers developed the other spy trees, Steven
Siegal most certainly developed this idea for the Ninjitsu tree.
I would like to see a Hallucination Dart ability... Make other players
think they're on fire or being ganked by Nightmares for a good 20
seconds. That would work well with a Ninja thing. Or perhaps Fire Blow
gun--Flame Virus.

Great idea I agree spy seems like it was developed by some sort of wrestler and ninjitsu is so cool and i dont see how its too powerful because spinal snap is a ninjitsu technique and it does hurt. Would also like to see some cool ninjitsu IL animations too.:smileyhappy:
