Sorry, I forget to say, that this last screenshot (Bathary Warf) is absolutely perfect - It looks like a photo nearly. I copied it in my MXO Album, I collect the best MXO photos from other users too. This one is now my new favorite this month. Thanks [•] The photos from your workplace are interesting, so many computers. That's not my work... that's my study at home

Okay i'm wondering about a small thing. Does the "see-far-as-crap" thing only go on how much RAM you have? So you don't need like a superdeluxe Graphics card to run this? 'Cause i have 4 gigs of RAM but a graphic card that sucks a bit.

No the SFAC thing (as you put it) requires cpu and GFX performance as well. Sure the further you can see, the more RAM you need to load the world. But you need increased CPU speed to shunt the data around and do all the physics etc., Your graphics card also needs to work like crazy to calculate, draw, texture, render and layer many many more triangles. The number of triangles the computer needs to deal with also increases at an exponential rate as you turn up the view distance. So no... you need grunt as well as RAM. EG I have 2GB RAM but you could easily cook an egg on my CPU heatsink. I don't have a heater in the study. Hrmm... I think I'll refer to my study as little vegas from now on. It's all about gaming and electricity consumption.

MXO - New Graphic Quality (Part 3) - Settings from Ann Bazman Hi all! Here are some new photos to show you these new detailed skyscrapers far away in the 'sky-box' distance. These photos are nothing special, I wanted show this new setting only. And an other photo with this nice yellow bike, in real I have too much fear from bikes - I would never sit on one, but I found the devs made them very nice. [•] These next screenshots are originals, nothing was changed or edited on them, real MXO photos.

[-] This image shows very good the Anti-Aliasing quality, you should look at this one in the original size. [-] Look at the jacket near the neck, its really perfect. [-] http://devx.ch/msbazman/mx/mxo/ss/ss129.jpg

MXO - "options.cfg" and "useropts.cfg" Hi Ikkaku! Yes, that are the new settings, and a new package "x4.00" - good for your 3 GB RAM, my cuddle bear. Do you see these detailed skyscrapers in the far distance, earlier they were only gray and had no details. Now they are colored and detailed. Ann will send you the files. Hehe, as I saw your name in the thread list, I knew you will say something to the bike, I hope you are careful when you drive on your red bike. [•] Log in more on the "Windows Live Messenger" in the comming week, we must talk. † ciao

Hey, Whoot! Those settings are marvellous! Thank you very much for this work, for your sharing, Anne. You did a *CENSORED* good job! I use these settings now for filming all day and its hard for me to rejack for playing, for I have to reduce it all to "normal" then for better perfomance. The settings are perfect for photography and filming, but doing missions with them slows my engine down. But.. i am deeply impressed! Laurina

Mx0 ·· "options/useropts (cfg)" - Answer for Laurina Hi Laurina! Thank you very much for the compliment first, but how you describe the using of these files is not correct. Yes, its true that versions (x2.00) and (x4.00) are only for photography, making movies or for all other (not-mission/not-fighting) activities. The versions (x1.00+), (x1.25) and (x1.50) you can use for missions or fighting very well. You wrote an email and you told me you have a new PC with 2GB RAM and 512MB video, with this power you can run the file "x1.50" for such activities without any problems. And don't forget, all versions have the absolute same graphic quality, the lil difference is only in distances, how far you can see. I have only 1GB RAM and 256MB video, I run the file "x1.25" for the missions. You wrote, it were hard to switch back for gaming only (original config file), because the low quality of the standard mxo "options.cfg". Laurina, don't do that, take the (x1.25) or (x1.50) for normal gaming (missions, fighting, pvp, duel). With these two solutions you will be happy to doing both, making movies and fighting. ** btw: Do you have the new files, 2.00 Edition? - I mean the one with the new colored and detailed far skyline (skyscrapers in the 'sky-box' distance). bye Ann Bazman · "annbazman" · «CONSTANCIA» · <TOPKAPI>

Hello, sisters. I'm extremely impressed and want to know if the "sky-box past the buildings" options will not slow down my computer severely for regular gameplay. I have 1GB of RAM and my video card is a 256MB one. I also have a dual-core Intel processor if that makes any difference.

I'm also wondering if the Skybox is a seperate entity or the result of an amazingly long Line of Draw, or too much for my computer, which is very comparible to Sykin's, other than the graphics card.
