In Re: EPN crews needed for expedition to no-fly zone.

On July 2nd. Shimada announced that EPN was going to send hovercrafts
to the no fly zone.. with the Merovingian's interest in the area, and
the Machine map to the zone in that dismantled hovercraft.. the time
has arrived to find out what is going on..

On Wednesday, August 13th, at 3:00 PM MCT, Michael will be jacking into the Syntax instance to ensure the safe departure of these crews...

This announcement is to inform you that he needs volunteers to man
these ships, and he is asking EPN operatives from all instances for
help.

Each EPN operative who has obtained a neurokinetic level of 20 or
greater can designate one person to go on the expedition, which is
expected to last for an extended period of time.

We still need to have our more experienced operatives here in the
simulation, so each person may create an RSI for an operative they wish
to sponsor with no higher a neurokinetic level then 10 to depart from
the Syntax instance on the above date and time.

All operatives who wish to sponsor a volunteer are encouraged to do the following ;

1.Create an RSI for your operative, with a unique name of his or her own, that you wish to sponsor on the Syntax instance.

2. Form a crew among other EPN operatives from your instance, appoint
a captain, and submit the crew name and roster to your liaison officers.
The roster should include the EPN operative's handle, along with the
handle of the operative on the Syntax instance each crew member is
sponsoring.

3. If you need assistance in forming a crew on the Syntax instance due
to reputation, please contact me, and I will be glad to assist you.

If you have any questions, please contact your liaison officers.

Likewise. Requesting permission to go along. My hovercraft is one of the fastest in the EPN fleet, and if there's trouble out there, you folks are going to need the speed we can provide.

I hope you take this into consideration. And yes, I am aware that I most likely won't be coming back...

I will be sponsering a operative I recently met.

But if she is killed in this operation there will be hell to pay, I still think sending inexperienced operatives to do a fully trained soldiers job is stupid and a deadly game to be playing.

Please note that the sponsored crew members, although their neurokinetic level may be low, are expected to be and are recognized by Michael to be fully trained, experienced hovercraft crew members.

I can speak for Zc when I say that her experience as a soldier of Zion has been deep rooted. She was extracted at a standard early aged potential, I think 9 years old. Before volunteering for our fleet as an EPN crewperson she had completed basic simulation training (ma styles, gun training, adaptation/improvisational training), operator school, gunner courses, mechanic classes, pilot school, engineering, simulacra crafting, programming, and so on and so forth. She even piloted Meretrix's ship, The Phantasm, back to old Zion to help clean up and restore the networking and defenses.

Her actual activity within the Matrix has been minimal, but that is hardly a requisite for this expedition. She'll be manning a 'craft for this mission. She has plenty of experience with that. This is why I sponsered her when she asked me to after learning of Catalyn's organization of the mission.

I can't speak for other operatives, but I know my volunteer is highly qualified for this operation.
