I just bought a brand new laptop. Its running a geforce8400 video card, an my operation system is vista ( lord save me ) after deciding to look up a few screen shots i took a few days ago i realised that all the pictures were just black. All of them were the same. I was wondering if anyone might have some information on why my computer is acting this way. Thanks for any help you can give me.

A few questions first.

Are you taking them .jpg or .bmp?
Are you using the ingame, or an out of game program to take them?
Are you running windowed?  My friend just installed the game and his screenshots were black on vista when he ran windowed.

2 step fix for this Vista issue:

1. Run MxO fullscreen
2. Turn off Antialiasing

You know, I really always thought that the fix for Vista was to reinstall XP? ^_________^

Just turn off AA (Antialiasing). That should fix it.
I run Vista, windowed MxO and with AA off my screenshots are fine.
