-Alyssa Evans : Cadsuane-

"'How do you know so much about everything?' was asked of a very wise and intelligent man;
and the answer was 'By never being afraid or ashamed to ask questions as to anything of which I was ignorant.'"
Lord Henry Billingsley

Whenever I speak with Cadsuane, I'm reminded of my early days in the Tetragrammaton; after all this time, Alyssa hasn't lost her genuine concern for the people within this simulation. She epitomises what the machine cause should stand for, what it used to stand for. Intelligent, efficient, and not without a comedic flair, she is the perfect human counterpart to the coldness of the machines themselves. She was recruited to the faction only a small time before my own departure, but wasn't swayed by the negative propaganda spread after. Consistently breaking through any barrier presented to her, Alyssa is a model operative. I would trust this woman with my life, and consider her one of my closest friends and allies in the Matrix.

(Thanks so much, I'm really glad that you like it Cads. I think that was the most I've learned while working on a picture in a long time.
I couldn't sleep last night, so I made another from a shot a snapped during an operation with Liaison Officer Vogt earlier that evening. lol, two in one day.)

-Edmund Vogt : Vogt-

"The price of greatness is responsibility."
Winston Churchill

Machine Liaison Officer Edmunt Vogt is a force to be reckoned with. He is not physically imposing, or loudspoken; he is a leader. Vogt has the power to strike inspiration into the hearts of the machinist army, even when our benefactors have been less than forthcoming with information. His dedication to the machine cause puts most operatives that I have met to shame. I remember when I first met Edmund, back when standard issue was an ill-fitted black dress. Immediately, I could tell that this was a man who performed his duty not because of any perks, but because he was fighting for a cause in which he truly believed. I still see that in him today, and I am proud to serve under his command.

(Thanks Sphairo, that means a lot to me.  Unfortunately, it's been on hold for a bit because all of the screenshots are on my old computer, and I've forgotten to put them on a flash drive every time I go home.  This is just an ad I did for one of my favourite clubs downtown.)

(Three years came and went without so much as a yawn.  SMILEY )

-Machinegun Haste-

"Her lips are red,
She is the queen.
She's such a scream."
Tom Waits - "Such a Scream"

"How the hell did you keep your head about you back then?" he furrowed his brow at a taxi going by, and moved his gaze back toward her, a pen in his hand dragging itself across the pages of a small pad.

"It jus'...never really hit me," she grew a sort of half grin, "y'know?  I kept goin' after diff'rent things with machinegun haste and didn't let myself stop or look around, so all th'gears seemed like they were moving."  Her eyes met his for a moment, and she blushed.  "I don' really like talking about all that, though.  After he passed away, things kind of changed," she bit her lip, trying to find the right words.  "It was like we were this big locomotive goin' nowhere, and the brakes were long gone and it didn't matter.  But, man, when that all went down...we jumped the rails."
