Ventio did get the killing blow. Lag was crazy and the event itself was... not quite what I expected.

Rarebit seems to be chilling out, and maybe he's calculating something. Maybe most damage will be the win?

Operator: Looks like the main virus got taken down by Ventilo, but now we've got little Smiths all over northeastern Downtown.
Congrats!

Bah, last hit is *CENSORED*. But I guess we can't expect them to do it the smart and fair way can we?

Oof, it was all going along fine and then just before I was gonna pull a spectacular little escape in the Times Squarish area, the server froze for like two minutes solid--I think it decided to spawn the area off into a child server at just that very moment. Poor Smithy was standing there frozen surrounded by hostiles with a tiny sliver of health. Just glad I didn't actually die during the lagout. I didn't go invis though! Once I could move again I hyperjumped a lot and spawned Smithlings all over until Mr. Smith Virus could recover a little.
I guess there's a question of...do I have Smith move around, or not move around? He WAS pretty much just in Debir on Recursion last year, but that was unannounced, and late at night if I recall, so local server overload wasn't a problem. This year I can spawn Smithlings who won't shoot the Smith Virus, which is helpful as far as survival goes :), to a degree, buuut it still doesn't get around server capacity issues, and eh can actually make them worse (which is why I stuck to really high level ones, 'cause then I didn't have to spawn as many: less load on the server). I'd rather keep it as a semi-running battle with a moderate amount of Smithlings helping the Virus as he moves around from spot to spot. Can be tricky to balance that, though, especially if things are going along fine, players dying, Smith having a grand old time, and suddenly MEGA ROOT on him from like four unexpected directions at once. 8o And then he dies in a fire under a bridge.

Good job Ventio! It seemed fitting for a FH'er to kill him, seeing as we had to hold him off at the start

((
Considering this lagged event.. are we to expect the next ones like this? :/ Or there`ll be better less lagged Smith assault and level 100 smithlings too.
And what the hell are you doing around *cough* level 100 awakened... lol
