anyone have a clue what could be causing this? it only occurs when i face certain directions and not all the time....it gets bad around hardlines and such. The ground and allthe textures blow up to enormous size and dont fit the object they are on. The textures look extremely mirrored and such. SMILEY makes it no fun to play when it does it.

I suggest you check this link: http://help.station.sony.com/cgi-bi...p?p_faqid=16225 and make sure your grahpic driver is updated.

well...i had just formatted my pc....its brand spanking new with brand new up to date drivers. i am on vista though (groan) and no choice in that matter. New pc's have thier bios precoded to accept only vista...and removing it voids all warranty's on the pc. I have an ati radeon 1950x pro so any ideas?

Try running a full system check just to make sure all the games files have downloaded correctly.

To do this, load the launcher and before pressing Accept to the EULA press the full system check button and then click accept.

Once the launcher has restarted, click accept and wait for it to prompt for your login details. When you get the prompt, press the full system check button and login then wait for the system check to complete. Then login in check to see whether it is the same.

Failing that, post your dxdiag info as requested in the thread at the top of the forum.
