We're in pretty bad shape when we're still griping about fairness in pvp. We've played this game for how long? Was it ever fair to everyone at all times? Or even most of the time? Part of it? When I jack in I expect to get ganked. Everyone else really should do the same. If it's not a Punt, Suplex, or Snipe we'd be whining about back-to-back Kung Fu Daze specials.
Brom said this at the beginning, just wanted to throw it out again.
"I think bruce is in the same boat with me, in wishing that when you're on your own in pvp against the numbers, it'd be nice if the numbers weren't rocking the easiest pvp trees aswell as having the numbers....
But life aint fair, and neither is Vector. That's why I love it xD"
Isn't this why we're on a hostile server? Because nothing is fair, and the chaos makes it a challenge and fun.
Sure I have my own ideas around what I think would make the server more balanced, but I'm not going to *CENSORED* about it; The day that happens I'll probably be bored out of my skull.

See i would agree to that if level 30's couldn't suplex, Leg sweep and Deadly throw level 50's without the 50 winning any roll in any of the rounds.
QFT
I remember back when I was somewhere between level 46-49 I was taking down level 50 MAs with KT. KT is very good against most operative loads, but once it goes against anything out of that tree it's chances for survival decline. However, I do agree that MKT/MS/MA are the "easier" way out in PvP. I say this because I have used it, we all have, and have experienced its "uberpwn."

O DEAR! A level 30 giving a 50 a suplex, leg sweep and deadly throw?? That must be some CRAZY damage. No way you could kill him at all. And truly if you can't outroll and ANNIHILATE the child. Something is truly wrong with you..(Not putting this towards you directly Riac, just saying, in general..and if the general is that sad, some people need to uninstall..)

Yea your right, you will annihilate them right after those 3 roles, But my point is how can mkt be considered any way balanced when you can out roll level 50's at level 30, and you cant do that with any other tree. -_^

As much as I despise the MxO'isms of choice for the hardcore vocalist (Noob, L2ROOT, OMGEPICPWNAGE, et al), there's one that's startlingly relevant to this thread.
'Learn to play'.
I don't mean that in a disparaging/baiting manner, and I'm certainly not trying to 'impart wisdom', I just see way too much complaining about things that a) You cannot change b) You can change your own build, to combat. There will always be MKT's, there will always be Snipers. There will always be those who base their PvP tactics on premise of Staggering Throw - HJ, or Sniper Shot - HJ = win. *CENSORED* at them, complain at them, use your X-fire contacts to vent about them, but don't expect things to be changed because of it. It's just not feasible.
A team of MKT's or/and Snipers is boring as the ensuing PvP usually consists of everyone walking around in sneak, someone runs into someone else and attacks, game over two minutes later. However, it's their prerogative to use that build, and it's up to you to combat it. If there's no way to, then you'll just have to accept that you can't and move on. They'll get bored eventually and switch to something else. If you have an entire team going against them, dust off Howitzer/Vector, get the pretty debuffs flying and enjoy your victories.
My point is that bitching/complaining/trashing at them will not get them dead. Adapt, and kill someone enough at their chosen build and you may just demoralise them enough into switching builds. That's all part of PvP. If you've forced the opposition into changing tactics, then you're very much on top.

I has a complaint about ur face!
I've found that I alternate between Gunslinger and Rifleman based on the tactics I want to use. Some days you just feel like sniping and others you don't. Truthfully, I've never used Snipes for the easy win. I just have an interlock build and a non-interlock build, my /loadlo dictated by whatever is demanded for the scenario ahead of me and, again, how I am feeling. I'm not going to interlock someone if I am the only Machine at Mara. That's effin' thtoopid. But if I see two gunners, I'm naturally going to put Hyper Dodge on and switch to Gunslinger. My Rifleman build returns FALSE otherwise.
Incidentally, Rifleman is a very decent counter to MKT when used properly. Even after noting this, however, you're never going to be flawless in your most practiced build. Someone *will* beat you due to random rolls. It happens to me more often than I care to admit. You do, however, have a certain degree of control over how frequently this can occur. I think that's where the l2p comes in, though.
