I'm not entirely clear what your question is.  But I will say that there are a lot of factors which can influence how much accuracy, damage and defense a martial artist can have in this game.  Once you have a little more experience with our combat system you may understand some of it a bit better.  And remember, not only is this a game but it's MxO.  You can't expect it to be exactly like your own personal experiences.  That being said, welcome to The Matrix Online!  If you need any help, check out the Definitive Helpers Guide for a list of people who can help you out while you play.

thankz and question was basicly why is karate such a joke when it comes to the stats i think it should be raised a little more and lower power to 45 if that is the lvl 50 karate style stil only 31SMILEY,

and i do have a question is toma naga a throw i mean like a pure throw not like grabing them and hiting them because if was like just grabing them in some way and looks tite as hell i think i am going with aikdoSMILEY

though the ki charged punch looks tite just wish it would throw them back instead of making them stop in mid air like he grabed him with ki and knocked him down as soon as he punch,i know it should cause i done it once and seen it from lvl 50s

Karate aint a joke. It's my main load and I have no trouble with it. I beat aikido and kung fu loads. Whichever laod u chose you have to balance it out with clothes.

Just looking at the stats on the Karate Ability itself doesn't give you the whole picture.  Don't forget the passive buffs and the Title Upgrade.  And then there's the statistics of the moves themselves.  Karate might appear to be at a disadvantage in some ways, but it makes up for it elsewhere.  Get some experience under your belt, try a few things out, experience the differences for yourself.  You'll find that in practice each martial art has it's good points and not-so-good points but in the end, they balance pretty well.

From what I've seen Aikido sacrifices melee damage for defense, whereas karate sacrifices defense for melee damage. My question is - what does Kung Fu sacrifice? I might be mistaken, feel free to correct me.

well, no area-effect ability(not like anyone uses them)
they don't have any abilities that breaks their opponent's resistance.
they get no self-buffs in the trees (like berserker buff etc)
they actually don't have any of the strongest state-specials of the three if you think about it, even though they have the most.
I am aware that dim-mak and wdd can be used one after the other, but so can ki-punch and foot-sweep. And Tomo-Nage has the potential to out-damage the two abilities put together.

It's all in your load man, if you and two friends go at it each using one style, one set of moves, they will seem to pan out a lot better. It's only when you can combine sky-high sidekick with EFK (and several other cross-ma combinations) that it begins to become deadly. If you see a kung-fu grandmaster, don't automatically assume that that's all they're using, because that would be a serious error, it only uses like 70 memory max SMILEY

The more resistance you have the less damage you take. And trust me if you fight a good karate master you need high resistance.

*CENSORED* right, I've seen highly skilled Karate Masters dealing 1000+ with EFK, the best defense vs Karate is to not get hit at all.

karate has the most power, kung fu rolls the highest, akido best defense

Using Kung Fu and Karate I can chain about 5 moves and repeat until my IS runs out.
Usually someone will beat my rolls before this happens though :s

Annnnnnnd.. MA rolls completely different now thanks to CR2.suck. Most 'old' CR2 MA builds/strats aren't as effective against MA now. Ftw.
