Which Org has the most power?

Merovingian thrives on power, but he is still in hiding. He is very powerful, but he stil need then Matrix and the Machines. If an agent finds him, he could very well be deleted. Minus the factors of all his bodyguard.

Zion had Neo, who, I am guessing, would be at least a lvl 1,000 to our 50 in game. I figure the Agents are 255, and Seraph was able to challenge Neo's skills. Anyhow, Zion was destroyed 5 times and almost 6. We need the truce.

Machines, however, have the most power. They have kept the human resistance at bay for 600 years, at least. They defeated the humans in war bfore the Matrix was created. If they applied themselves, I belive they could defeat the Merovingian. However, he is clever enough and political enough to keep himself afloat for this long.

Any thoughts?

The Machines have been weakened by the Smith virus, and the large number of civilians taking the red pill, AND a large number of Exiles taking to the streets. Their numbers are spread thin...

Zion is split in so many different radical factions it's hard to keep them straight. All I truly know about it is that the one under Locke's command is regarded to as the official one, with EPN and Niobe's faction as split-offs.

The Merovingian is in no way in hiding. In fact, his most competent employee, Ookami, has been making frequent appearances on the "front lines". His weakness, however, shines in the upcoming Commando wars, which has diverted his attention because of the new weapons he's been developing for us.

*strokes EMCP disk*

The cypherites I expect will be all killed off soon, morons as they are. Unfortunately for my extremely anti-Cypherite persona, I must digress that they will probably stick around for a long time, especially with the uprising of what I like to call their new Recruiting Division: EPN and their code bombs, forcing Blue pills into Red pills and later into Cypherites.

*sigh* I guess the Cypherites will never really be defeated. But I can dream...

Machines (Agents) are binded by rules since they are made with a system.. So is the Merovingian since he is first made in the matrix.

Ummmm... did you actually watch the movies?  The bluepills are humans whose minds have been manipulated into thinking their reality is "real".  Humans are constantly manipulated through lies (not the least of which stem from Merv).  The agents within the Matrix may be bound to certain rules, but there are machines on the outside that are very capable of adapation and making up new rules.  This is why the machines are, and will always be, the most powerful org (at least from a plot perspective.. the number of players aligned with the machines is a different story).

The same is true for humans.. and exiles, for that matter..  the only difference is where they get their energy.  :smileywink:

I didn't mean manipulated, but binded with rules. Humans aren't made with a system.

I know the machines need energy, and you can see at the end of revolutions, that they are about to destroy Zion and keep their energy source.

At this point they can't break the truce. The Cypherites are basically a rogue Smithlike force. They can hurt the Machines as much as EPN

i dont think you can even look at it from a most powerful org point of view any more..now its whos the most powerful race. theres 3 races at work in the matrix. humans, machines, and programs. i would think the machines.(who also live in the realworld and jack into the matrix like humans) are the most powerful. if they wanted to they could just destroy the matrix from the outside and humans and programs would be helpless.

machines dont need humans to survive..we just make survival easier. they could put ships up above the clouds to collect solar energy and live that way. but it would probably be less energy and make life difficult.

humans are the second most powerful..also because of their ability to travel between the matrix and the real world. humans could survive without the matrix. they only continue to jack in to fight for what they believe is a cause. if they wanted to, zion could load up into boats and travel somewhere else and start civilation over again. specially since the truce. but they stick around to make trouble.

exiles are the least powerful. they are completly dependent on the matrix to survive. without it they would fade away into nothing. inside the matrix i think the mero pwns all. hes the godfather and nothin gets past him. he knows the loopholes and how to use them. he is the king if exploits. but he is nothing if the matrix dosent survive. so he will always depend on controlling humans and machines to his will either by political means or trickery.

just my opinion

You have clearly not met the Effectuator yet. I'd advise you to investiage our means of survival before you open your mouth, cave dweller.

~Long story short, Effy is the reason that the Merv has been able to survive all these instances of the Matrix.

eeeeesh...im no cave dweller. im a merv, lol. how dare you insult me. /duel :smileymad:

i serve the frenchman to serve myself. in the matrix he is byfar the most powerful. but without the matrix he cannot survive while machines and humans can. therefore he is the weakest from that perspective.

I say it again. And this time I say it louder and clearer.

DO YOU KNOW WHO THE EFFECTUATOR IS?

The Effecutator is the Program in charge of Constructs that exist outside of the Matrix. Yes. The Merovingian can survive, and has, out of the Main Matrix Simulation. How else do you think he's gone through so many different versions? (and server resets lol)

The amchines will always ne more powerful beacuse they have the power in the real. They could destroy Zion anytime they wanted, its as simple as that. The only thing stopping them was the realisation that they need us which I think was one of the main factors in Neo brokering the truce. As much power as they had they could have never stopped the Smith virus.
