Looks like that virus has been wising up after all. Short term, at least, we should see things calm down in the city; long term...this could be a real pain in the you-know-what.

"As you well know, appearances can be deceiving, which brings me back to the reason why we're here. We're not here because we're free, we're here because we're not free. There's no escaping reason, no denying purpose - because as we both know, without purpose, we would not exist. It is purpose that created us, Purpose that connects us, Purpose that pulls us, That guides us, That drives us, It is purpose that defines, Purpose that binds us. Can you feel it, closing in on you? Well, I can. Purpose..." And with these words, the door closes silently, and a lock is heard turning. Out with a bang, in with a whimper. Perhaps to return. I have no idea why I made the above post and that one in the other thread. Perhaps I was... compelled... moving on. I don't understand the *cry cry river* about the mass NPC spawn. Last I checked, a large group of level 60 Smithlings were difficult to kill, and the loot isn't that bad, neither. Of course, I understand that it could get boring with the realization that the victory over the NPCs is, to an extent, inevitable. So might I make a small suggestion, knowing this isn't the Developement Forums, that some sort of device be constructed to allow NPCs to spawn until the source of their spawn point is destroyed, like the game Gauntlets (I think is the name). Also, why was the thread deleted? x_X

I did have shots of a certain faction getting wiped out by a sudden Smithling zerg at Mara C as they were all sitting in a nice line... Eh those were pretty good shots, too, except when putting the post together I decided that for this one I'd stick with shots without names showing.

He trembles and writhes a bit, inclining his head slightly, his legs bound by an endless length of thorned vine, the spines bloodying his already worn, pale flesh. ...heh...Smith...again... He coughs up his own blood, sending it shuddering and shriveling through the dank air in a wash of crimson viral digits. And I thought...'I'...never learned. ~V

This was a fantastic event. *CENSORED* you Rarebit lawl for your timings, we was having a big meeting and was about to begin in the whitehalls, and you pressed the button lol. Oh well, It was great fun working with everyone, and getting somewhere. Felt brillant having people message me for orders and the such like though tough work. Thank you to all those who helped myself, Dibol, and Fucsienne together we managed to aid in the recapture of our city from the Smithlings! ((Rarebit, wheres the pictures of us fighting the Smithlings in Bathorary Row? did you get any?))

This event was kick-*CENSORED*. Somehow I got on right before Smith started broadcasting messages. I probably looked like an idiot out there with my level 16, but I got the kill on one and snagged 14 smith frags and 9 lvl 40-50 items from drops. My first live event (excluding some fun with Effy) since the Complete Corrupters on my trial account, and this was amazing. I was surprised that I never had to deal with lag. Great event, I thought. Tons of Smithlings, and right where I could attack them. ((too bad MxO trivia today on Syntax with Brewko got messed up by spammers. I thought I was gonna have two great days in a row))
