patch system error (result -4)?

^ topic. i was downloading patches for my first time loading the game. anybody have any idea what that error means?

and also, any idea of how to make it download faster? i have dsl and 158mb is taking forever

I just need to know what (result code -4) means. Dont you guys have a list of error codes and what they mean?

Actually...no, we don't. The information passed along to us techs when the game was merged wa something like this:

We are getting MxO.

Error code -2 and -12 are usually "connection related"

The UI settings are in the Profiles folder.

So, we've been learning a lot about the game just by running into problems, adn then trying to fix them. I believe error code 4 is a file access error- meaning, the game is trying to write to a file that it does not have permission to. Try deleting the specific file that brings up the error, and then patching again (be sure to toggle a Full Scan). Also, you may want to log into the computer as The Administrator (it's the default account with the username Administrator, not an Administrator-enabled account) and then patching.
