You know what I love? Machinists preach peace, but they insult and hassle a program. They threaten him too.

Natural selection fails.

Point out where I ever insulted or hassled this program.

EDIT:  The reason I ask that, is because you are comparing those of us that are here for peace with those that are complete psychos.  The Machinists that were "preaching peace" were not the ones saying to delete the program.  If you took your head out of your *CENSORED* for just a few moments and actually READ the transmission, you would've realized that.

Stop preaching propoganda.  Without control there is chaos freedom.  You are reading in between the lines.  You are free, remember that.

Corrected.  SMILEY

In any event, am I really free?  Are you?  We're only "free" because Neo made the Machines promise to let us be "free" - and our so-called "freedom" depends solely on the Machines' continued compliance with the Truce.

And we've seen how reliable/trustworthy they are . . .

Moreover, I prefer to think a little more broadly than just my personal freedom.  I don't consider any human free until all of us are free.  Until the Matrix is dismantled for good, our individual "freedom" is qualified and incomplete.

My point is that the Machine apologists are the ones who're taken in by propaganda - they have been seduced into believing that this illusion of freedom actually is freedom.  Moreover, they have chosen to not demand anything more than the Machines are willing to give, just like the good little slaves that we all have been bred to be.

Good thing for the rest of us: the spirit of humanity transcends all the Machines' efforts at mind control and genetic engineering.  You still have the choice to demand freedom - for all of us.

Did I point you out individually? No. I don't need to point it out either, it's too apparent for it's own good. Maybe you should start teaching your foot soldiers some discipline and manners before sending them out amongst real people.

All members of my crew are disciplined and feel as I do about peace.  Again, you fail.  I do not control the entire Machine organization, nor should I be held responsible for their actions.  A captain is only responsible for his crew, which I take a certain manner of pride in, as you well should know.

I took your message personally since you said that immediately after my comment, and I was one of the biggest advocates of peace there.  But again, not a single Machinist who was praising peace with the Machines was harrassing or threatening the simulacra.

Really? Look closer.

The foot soldiers remark was a general insult to people like Illyria. Stop taking everything so personally Fen. This is personal: What kind of captain doesn't have the decency to help other captains when they can't silence their fools? I expect a witty comeback about how I'm a fool.

And no NightTrace, I was not referring to you.

Ah, I'm actually caught off guard then. I was almost certain it was a slight in my direction about saying the things about the Truce and peace, while being a cold hearted sob etc etc, so on and so forth.

I'm a bit relieved that I guessed incorrectly.

Yeah. Usually that becomes apparent when I say so myself.

So it's wrong to hassle a program, in character, thats designed after a man who terrorized the Matrix with the intent of making sure he doesn't pick up where the former left off?

Innocent untill proven guilty? Nah I understand and can agree that it was right to question this thing in reguards to it's "purpose" but threating is a bit much.
