They are level 255 for a reason. The only other acceptable level would be 127.

Mhm... a 2 potency -1. So next alternative would be 63? Mhm...

Its working off a binary system which does not start at the number one but at zero, whch means to get the maximum number you take whatever multiple of 2 eg: 32, 64, 128, 256, 512, 1024 and subtract 1 .

Although the 2 potency has the strongest ties with the binary system (0, 1 are it's only characters) it's not "working off" it o_O

Look all I know is that in cr1 I was able to roll out from agents and get the hell outta dodge. In this system um two hits and "Your dead sweetheart".

Yeah, but staying to fight a 255 agent is futile, save yourself from perma DE and get out SMILEY

This has been brought up before, but I feel lite trying again. Currently no matter how many lvl 50s attack an agent he just wont die. This is because of the resistance in lvls. In the QA for instance 5 lvl 50s could defend themselves against an agent and kill him in about 15 minutes. Yes I know what Morpheus have said but even in CR1 we were able to kill agents and Trinity also killed one, not to mention the other matrix games where you had to get rid of the agent in various ways. But agents there were definetely not invincible as they are now. For those that agree suggestions for changes? For those that don't , why is that you don't agree?

I'd like to see Agents as Level 60, to keep in line with Agent Gray. Even put them at 65 if you have to, but they seriously need to be lowered. There's many threads filled with complaints about the 255 Agents.
I'd like to point out that Anome had the green blaster hand ability.

In any case I think Agents should do damage comparable to a level 51 NPC but have the resistance of level 255.

When did Trinity kill an Agent? I remember her getting her rear handed to her. To this date, the only ones who have killed an actual Agent (to my knowledge) are as follows. Then again, not all cases have been shown -- some of them merely mentioned -- whereas in most cases the Agent wasn't exactly killed -- only redirected to another host.

- Neo.
- Seraph had apparently defeated Agent Smith once before.
- Morpheus temporarily killed an Agent via a "sneak attack."
- Niobe killed an Agent in Enter the Matrix via dropping him from a cargo-plane.
- Ghost killed an Agent in Enter the Matrix via electrocution.
- The Assassin killed Agent Skinner.
- Smith killed Agent Johnson via infection.
- Morpheus' Legacy, JoKeRz, and several other factions have killed 255's via sploits. Hehe.

We don't talk about killing agents but actually defeating them and being able to pretect ourselves from them. Please read trough before posting irrelevent comments.

I think they should be exactly like the TaskMaster, apart from the level 255 resistance.  We can hold ourself up against the TM for a long while, some can solo him, but with the rediculous Resistance, you will not be able to solo him, and will need a team to do damage that is worth mentioning.

Yes, but that Agent just happened to have taken a nap at the same time he got shot. In the face.

On a serious note, a group of about 6-10 people can indeed take out an Agent, if they 1)Know what they're doing, and 2)Have the patience to kill it.
