Excellent choices for music, though for some reason I was reminded of Mass Effect in the parts leading up to the BIP scene.

The music switch when [spoiler woman] came in made me ^jump^!

Neat that it fits so well in YouTube's new widescreen format. Did you have to crop it at all, or maybe heighten the black bar at the bottom a tad? I couldn't see obvious cropping... Hm, the aspect ratio of the cinematics + subtitle bar is...1.912 (without the subtitle bar it's cinema-standard 2.39), and YouTube's widescreen is supposedly 16:9 (1.̅7), so I'm guessing you snuck in a clever adjustment somewhere.

Wow, thanks for the praise, Rarebit.  I just put the gif files in windows movie maker in sequential order and set it to 16:9 mode.  Either it compensated by slight letterboxing, or it distorted the video to make it fit.

Hm, in that case it probably didn't use letterboxing to do it (that would typically have added bars at both top and bottom). Could be slightly stretched vertically.

This is so well done!  Thank you.  Was the music that started it from the "Homeworld" game soundtrack?  It sounds just like it.  PS10N and I listen to that soundtrack to relax, when being creative and for some together time, too.  It's very mystical, spacial music that's relaxing and inspiring at the same time.  Don't know what the music was after [mystery woman] appeared, but it fit the cinematic perfectly and was very exciting!  Great job.

So far, I've only used music from MXO to give these a semi-authentic feel.  The first track is used for... Downtown, I think.  Its very moody and I figured it would work well for the mysterious atmosphere at the beginning. The second piece is combat music for Machine missions.  The one after that is standard music from Merovingian missions.

Thanks, everyone. I'll be sure to do this again once 12.2 rolls out.

:: Applause:: Great choice of music as always! Using the Downtown interior music was perfect: that cut has always had an ominous feel to me (fitting since Downtown is closest to the Machines' center of command in the simulation).

What? How odd. They still work for me.  Anyone else having trouble viewing them?
