Given the amount of drastic I R LEAVING NO EVENTZ threads. And the continuing attempts to push rare back to the old style, which i highly doubt is gunna happen.
I thought it'd be fitting to make my own thread.
This game owns, I enjoy pvping scrubs and having a laugh with Eps and Hlew etc. I R NOT LEAVING NO EVENTZ.
There's always been more than events to this game for me, and It's still way too early days for me to consider making a decision on the new implementations.

Yeah so true, i used to miss most of the events anyway, i was always asleep when they happened so I'm not too fussed, there's more to the game then them anyways
There are some players that havent run a crit in years and couldn't care less about Live Events and pwn suckas all day. And some people actually sit around a hardline and Arpee in character for hours on end. (Not on Vec of course, you do that and you die quick, lol) Thats what makes this a fun game, there is something for everyone. I just think some people rightly say we've lost a huge chunk of the dynamic, story-based content, and thats what brought a lot of people into the game in the first place and kept them loyal. I'd like to see a happy medium between the old way and the new way. Or a third way. And wait till after the Holiday event to see what pans out because thats a crazy time anyways and never a good time to make rash decisions.
Yupz, this is just one of those times in MxO where there's a big change and a lot people gripe about it, and every once in a while this sort of thread comes along just to prove the point that not EVERYONE is whining. As for myself, after finals are done, I'll be jacked in ALOT over Winter (love dat snow), and maybe a bunch of other Recursionites will return, as well.
If not, I'll just do what I did last time we had a low in MxO: make random RP characters and screw with people on random servers. :P Whatever makes the game work for you, do it.

I never thought that I'd say this but Vector RP is the best I've seen during the last weeks. At least for CYPHs. But maybe this is not about being flagged. Maybe the reason is that the only CYPH RP is on Vector? Hmm...

Funny you should say that....we've always maintained that RP is perfect for Vector because you have real consequenses for your actions....

PvP and RP are great, but there are plenty of other games that offer the same thing along with a ridiculous amount of more content on top of that.
It's just, those other games also lack the dedicated, daily live events like MxO used to have.
But, to each his own, of course.
