Prelude:

   A ladys nervous voice is heard over a telephone call, "Agent Gray? It's me, Lexius, the doctors secratary and assistant.  And I'm worried about this program. Initial tests have showed some problems with the g-14 comands and theres.... yes the doctor is gone, dissapeared.... ok, yes i'll hold".  Unfortunatly, the phone call is never finished. A loud gunshot goes off in the backround. BAM!!

Shortly after, about one hour, we now go to a conversation between Ripin and Agent Gray.

Agent Gray: Hello Mr. Rippin, we have a mission for you. The operative with the call sign "Catzi" poses an unknown threat to the system and needs to be put under constant and full surveillance. I trust that you can assemble a team of 100 people and fullfill this mission effectively.

ripin: Do i need to remind you the last time Catzi was a threat to the matrix, that the top secret code she possessed was just a new outfit for Niobe?

Agent Gray: I have been informed by reliable sources that theres a program if used could possibley awaken every bluepill on the grid. It exists inside the matrix. The doctor has dissapeared but his daily planner has days march 20 through march 26th crossed off with a note to "meet with catzi".

Ripin: Well sir, if I may, I have a better idea. It will use far less manpower and will be alot more effecient. Not to mention all the dough its going to save us.

*makes a phone call*

Ripin: Hi Nintene... im fine thanks, listen though, do you still have that ladys business card from the television network? ....

The very next day.....

Roari: my work involves the re-alignment of data to the Matrix, I help to make sure that our people stay........happy

Catzi: say father, where were you when i made national finales in cheerleading? i won a medal for you

Roari: I was a little disapointed

Catzi: it would of meant alot to me, i was never sure if you aproved of me, and when you disappeared.... well... i was kinda heartbroken

Roari: it was not that I did not approve of you child

Roari: not for a few days, but I would like to spend as much time with you as possible, now and in the future

Catzi: oooh top secret stuff eh!? sounds exciting! yeah i sure do! i cook a mean grill of hambergers!

Roari: Sounds delicious. i'm hungry already

Catzi: *looks around and wispers* maybe we talk about your work later perhaps?
Catzi: you got me so curious!

Roari: in future I will be spending more time in the Matrix so I would like to spend it with my child

Catzi: can i guess? if you tell me if im hot or cold, like old times!

Roari: if you wish

Catzi: .... your a secret spy for zion and save redpills with an invention that creates llight out of waste!?

Catzi: or maybe your putting together a new band and going on tour but you cant say anthing till the contracts hav been drawn up?

Roari: *laughs with a sarcastic reply* exactly!

Catzi: so excited, yah i'd like to learn more and help out with whatever is your doing. sounds very important!
Catzi: if you want anything to eat, its on me.

Roari: oh well........lets have the whole menu and celebrate

Catzi: im gona try the shrimp dumplings....
Catzi: ... oh that wine is very expensive, you sure you want that?

Roari: wonderful and oh yes yes I'm quite sure

Catzi: yeah i'll even get a bottle to take with you .. .where you staying?

Roari: well I umm have not had time to think about myself
Roari: I have not made arrangements yet
Roari: my only thought was to find my loving daughter

Catzi: oh you can stay with me then, i'll set you up with a room, and if your hvcft is nearby, wich im guessing it aint, but if it is you can park in our thing there
Catzi: oh i'l see if any of the pride members would like to meet you, if you dont mind?

Roari: it would be an honour
Roari: my hovercraft is being repaired at the moment though, so parking won't be nessessary.

Catzi: oh thats to bad. i know a good mechanic i might be able to pass along to you. does fine work.

Roari: oh no, it's fine fine, being taken care of

Sloop2: spendy?  does that mean spensive? CHEERS!!

Catzi:  yes, my treat though

Catzi: in celebration of my dear father, and very succesfull from waht i hear, a toast!
Catzi: for you father, we drink in honor of you, welcome *raises glass* to you father! our family re-unites. and to humanity!

The night air was bitterly cold, despite it being the first days of spring the weather patterns in the Matrix code apparently did not take the hint and temperatures were still getting down near freezing. Seemingly oblivious to the cold a lone operative was knelt down on a rooftop. Using binoculars to look at a group of people eagerly leaving a dilapidated building he was jotting down notes as he watched their lips move and hands clasp...either in farewell. or exchanging of small items, either were a strong possibility.

"Operative Nintene, you have an incoming call."

Jumping up slightly he turned around looking for the unexpected intruder but he realized it was the mechanical voice of his ship's operator speaking through his earpiece. Sighing he spoke quickly saying "Take a message Sparky, Right now I'm on surveillance duty. I picked up a tip that the fragments of an E.P.N. group may be in possession of those codes we've all been looking for."

"The call is from Agent Grey."

"...put him through."

"Operative."

"Sir, you must understand that I'm in the middle of quite an important mission. Looking for those codes that was 'lost'."

"Operative, I am quite aware of your mission. Just under an hour ago one of our Zion moles procured a dossier of a red pill. After performing a routine cross reference with our databases we are certain within a five percent margin of error that this red pill, by the name of Roari, is in possession of the codes."

"How soon can you get me th-" Nintene's voice was interrupted by his PDA giving off a loud beep to let me know he had a new e-mail.

"You should already have it. Included you will find photos, his known criminal  history both before and after he was awaken by Zion operatives. I trust you will know what to do with it."

"Affirmative, thank you sir."

"That is all."

The line clicked dead and Nintene took his finger off of his earpiece. Taking a last look from his vantage point he gave a sigh and hyper jumped through the air and landed on a rooftop a few buildings down. Placing one hand on the side of the rooftop he jumped over and grabbed the ladder sliding down it. 

After a quick jog he ran down the steps of the Tabor North subway and within moments was settled into the subway riding it to the historic district in downtown. He took his PDA off its belt holder and started to scroll through the dossier.

"Hmm..." He muttered to himself out loud while quickly going through the file. "His redpill handle is Roari, was known as a Mr.Purple before taking the red pill...wow....this guy has a loaded history. Multiple possessions of weapons without a permit, possession of drugs and drug paraphernalia, charged with intention to distribute said drugs, reports of domestic abuse, multiple DUI's, multiple accounts of public intoxication as well as public indecency, as well as charges of helping produce and distribute various types of illegal pornography.

"Good Lord this guy isn't winning father of year anytime soon...he managed to avoid any serious prison time by ratting out his boss and fellow cronies. After a short sentence he died in a 'mysterious incident', which is just the normal dublespeak the machine generate to cover up to any awakenings."

Glancing up from his seat he saw a nervous looking dark skinned male with silver hair looking at him. When their eyes met the mysterious figure quickly looked away.

'Odd', Nintene though to himself. 'He sure looks familiar for some reason...'

Looking back down at the file he moved past the last few noteworthy notes on his blue pill life (Had at least several kids by different women, only one of his children is a known operative and she is working for Zion) and into his short career with Zion.  He was quickly ejected from the Zion crew that had awoken him after several complaints from female crew members of lewd behavior as well as assault. Before he left the Zion crew he stole a few files on their security code protocols and defected to Zero One. Despite some of the security codes to be outdated he was welcomed into the ranks and placed on a maintenance crew where a close eye was supposed to be kept on him.

"...but apparently not that close of an eye because he went missing a few weeks later...coincidentally at the same time that a host of files were stolen as well as a hover barge." He said this last part out loud to himself and then just shook his head with disbelief.

'There is no way one guy could have been this lucky...why would he attempt to steal those codes? Who would he sell them...?' He paused as several thoughts collided in his mind at once.

The person who stood to gain the most from these codes would be the Merovingen.
Anything done to prolong the war was a positive.
The grainy photo on the PDA stared up at his face as the silver haired man continued to stare at him.

In a quick series of movements he pulled out his hand gun and tried to stand up just as Roari pushed a woman at Nintene, knocking him back into his seat causing his gun to discharge and shatter the window behind him.

People screamed in panic as mass chaos erupted in the subway car, just as they pulled into the stop. Pushing the woman off of him and into the seat by him Nintene jumped up and tore out of the subway looking back and forth on the crowded platform and caught a glimpse of Roari as he ran up the stairs. Pocketing his PDA he took off through the counters and ran up the stairs only to be greeted by hail of gunfire that exploded the ceiling above him, raining sharp fragments of tile and plaster on his head.

Hitting the ground he fired off a few shots that missed their target. Swearing he jumped to his feet and leaped up the remaining steps preparing to doge more bullets. Landing on his feet he saw nothing and turned just in time to have a fist collide with his face. A quick kick kicked his gun of his hand as he hit several more times as he fell backwards and rolled away and shakily jumped to his feet, stars still swimming around his head.

"You aren't going to be taking me alive! There are big plans for this information that my boss is going to pay me for." Waving the disk in a hand while pointing a gun at Nintene. "There is nothing you can do to stop us he said as he backed up into the street oblivious to the honking horns of traffic.

"Wait! Stop! Behind you!" Nintene said as his eyes grew wide.

"Seriously boy. What sort of fool do you take me as?" He said with a smile as a large truck crashed into him and ran over him sending the disk flying through the air.

Diving forward Nintene caught the disk with an outstretched hand as a man leaped out of his struck staring in horror at the mangled body that was under his vehicle.

"Oh jeez...he just came out of...I didn't...he just..." The man spoke in broken phrases as he looked around in panic.

Touching his ear piece he spoke "Sparky, get on the horn and let the local police know we need a clean up crew at Historic. Also, let Grey know I got the disk."

"Agent Grey, sir." Nintene saluted the agent and held forth the disk.

Taking the disk, the Agent in turn handed it to an assistant who placed it in his computer. "Bring it up on the main monitor. All three of them watched the monitor as it began to stream a series of increasingly lewd images across the screen.

All the color drained from Nintene's face as he saw his normally emotionless face begin to have the slightest hints of well concealed fury.

Minutes passed as the images grew more revolting and Nintene looked at the ground trying his best not to vomit on the expensive looking carpet.

"Agent Grey, so far all I've manage to find on this data disk are streaming video feeds...hold on. I think we might be able to back trace the source of some of these videos and possibly pinpoint Roari's outside of the simulation."

"Good. Begin the trace. Operative Nintene, find and detain the Zionist Catzi. We cannot be sure that she wasn't responsible for switching these disks and may have the actual disk we need."

"Aye sir." The human operative saluted and quickly left the room.

"As soon as a location is found send several units to detain and if necessary destroy his vehicle." The obscene material reflected off of the Agent's glasses as he glared at the monitor. "This will end. Soon."

Walking outside the building Nintene paused and look around him.

Things had become much more complicated and the ruse of Catzi TV was about to fall apart.The best he could was hope that no one he knew was going to die because of it.
