A shock ending finished off a wild back-and-forth battle on Syntax in which each of the three sides appeared to have a decisive lead at some point. Zion started strong, in clear command of the rooftop as the event characters appeared. Ookami was nearly eliminated straight off, but the arrival of the full CYPH/Machine force, throwing powerful hacks and overrides, disrupted everything. They nearly got Ghost, but Zion was able to rally, and the battle settled into a fierce struggle in which no side was able to gain a clear advantage. That lasted for a considerable time, and then Ghost crashed. I brought the event characters back with lowered health regen so we could start to see some hurting. The stalemate continued for a while, but eventually the Machine onslaught wore Zion/EPN down, and Endomorph of the CYPHs got the shot that eliminated Ghost from the battle. The Mervs took advantage of everyone being caught up in the battle around Ghost to launch a stunningly effective blitz on Agent Pace, and hitmanben clinched the victory for the Merovingian side by eliminating her before the Machines could switch from offense to defense.
Gah, I was hoping you caught a screenshot of my Punt on Ghost, my own screenshot was late due to some lag. Fun was had, I enjoyed it!

Ne vous inquiétez pas, votre compte Google anglais est meilleur que mon français Google!
Great battle of Syntax. There was a few times when everything total froze up...and then you find yourself in mid of 10 Mech's lol.
Btw..we don't HJ I stole a helicopter to take these screen's..
Stupid Zionites siding with the Mervs after Ghost was taken down
Still, great fun ^_^ Thanks for taking the time to make it happen Rare, t'was quite an epic battle.

Well they had to pick a side and it never gonna be the side who took their character down!

Please focus on the real....we didn't pick any side and never will. We had the roof in the start but got push back by Mech's and after 30 min. not many zion's left. Those who were left only tried to annoy mech's and mervs. If we ever chose to siding with the merv's then we might as well sell our soul.

By choosing a side im pretty sure he wasnt implying you were trucing with the mervs i think he really means
That there were 2 Storyline npcs left to attack and we had just killed Ghost, it was expected that you would attack Pace before Ookami after we pwned Ghost.

If the story did go as you said, but we really didn't have any plans to attack Ookami or Pace as the first target if Ghost were taken down.
Note self: Remember battle plans, coffee and popcorn's on the hovercraft before entering a battle.
Apologies, perhaps picking a side was the wrong phrase. Although I did see a lot of calls to attack the Mechs/Pace immediately following Ghost's demise. Heat of battle stuff I guess.
Would 'Well they had to pick a side to attack and the attacking the Mechs was the appropriate choice at the time!' have been a better description?
As Endo correctly states, I did not mean to imply any trucing happened, or that anything was planned.
Wow, A pic of Chainer is included. I am rather stunned.
Well done to the Mervs. I'm sad I missed most of it, because my internet was playing up so I only got to see/fight in the first bit.
