Neat, but unnecessary.

Stop mourning and start fighting! Theres a war to be won!

Mourn when you've won! Or die crying!

"I will go next, if it agrees...This day we gather to mourn the loss of a close advisor, confidant, and friend.  In the time that I have been in the matrix, the occasions I met with the Oracle were small, but I can tell you this, in those times that I met her, I gained so much inspiration.  With the guidance we have been given, the encouragement, and the subtle ways of telling us just enough.  She has always been a friend to us, all of us, no matter our disposition.  In the times I fought alongside morpheus a long time ago, he would speak of her with none but admiration and recognition...We must look to see what direction we must go now, Zion.  We must see where our decisions lie, as that was her case the whole time.  If she is not to return with us, then I am afraid, but I am also confidant that we will be able to carry on.  Thank you, my people, and may peace be with you."

this thing turned into a train wreck.  the behavior from certain players was just uncalled for.  you know who you are, just remember no whining when zion comes and ruins your events.

I only got the pleasure of meeting her once as well but her words still ring through my head

telling me that we all have a purpose

for a long time I didn't know what that purpose really was until here recently

My purpose is teaching freed mines about the past and how to prepare for what lies next for them

grouping up with all that were there against the battle against Halborn showed how she believes in all of us to help out each other

and harkee said it best to let this unfold how it did us all must be strong and see what lies ahead for her next plan

until then we will keep doing what we all do best fight for Zion and be strong

She was a key role in the matrix itself. She was the one who unbalanced things for others to rebalance. She gave us all a purpose. Regardless of who you are she was the one who told us what we needed to hear regardless of the role we ended up in. If it wasnt for her there might have not been a first truce. It is sad to see her gone but I do not believe she has left. We need now to strive for peace and a truce more than ever. It is safe to say that if Halborn didnt stop at her and risked unstabilizing the matrix, none of us are safe. NONE.

*takes moment of silence for the oracle*

We must now protect Sati from the dangers and further pursue peace and a truce. This is not always accomplished by force delat by emotions.

Thank you to lil Twie, LtGamble, 7hor, and all others who spoke at the service.

Side Note:  I understand listening in on events and attacking and defending during events. But the way some acted at the funeral was uncalled for. Some acted like lil kids and showed the maturity level of them as well.

I remember one day, I was leading a team of factionmates through Richland.  We ran through this very court and noticed the Oracle was sitting at her bench conversing with Couldwolf.     It was my first time to meet her, and she was a gracious and witty as I had hear.  This was before the large-scale meetings she held more recently.  Even game me one of her famous cookies...

*raises his gaze higher*  And if she is truely gone, we must not dwell on her passing.  What she did she did for everyone, even you Oyphisis.  And you Criinge.  I suppose that is all I have to say.

---

I'm glad we got a chance to meet together and speak about what had happened.

It was a sad day when the Oracle died, but these parting words must be remembered that were spoken so long ago. "We can't see past the choices we don't understand" None of us understand why The Oracle gave herself up, and maybe she didn't either. Either way, she won't be back at the Source anytime soon. Not as long as we carry the wisdom in our hearts, and the determination in our fists. We are Free.

And I think I should voice this here and now. Debir Court is where The Oracle told Neo of his destiny, and made the final dangerous decision to help or hinder Zion. Did she do so again?

The Oracle was a mentor to us all.  She believed in the freedom and the cooperation of the Human race and the Machines.  Morpheus and Neo both followed her until the day they died.  Hundreds have laid down their lives fighting for the same thing she believed in.
And now she laid down her own.

I don't know what she was thinking, but there is no doubt in my mind that she had a plan.  She has done plenty of risky things in the past.  Rama-Kandra helped the Merovingian delete her shell, and still she returned and helped Rama-Kandra, his wife Kamala, out and took their daughter, Sati, under her wing.  She baked cookies the day she let Smith assimilate her, and still she returned.  It was in Debir Court that she let Halborn kill her.  And it was there that she put her newest plan into action.

All we have to do now is see where it goes.

((omg Here I'll make it pink so you can't miss it and can't misunderstand.

In the third Matrix movie, the Oracle hints at her true purpose, which is to bring imbalance, rather than balance, to the equations that form the Matrix. In that she is opposed to her counterpart, The Architect, who brings balance to the equations that form the Matrix.

The Oracle's purpose is to aid The One and the humans following him by means of the Prophecy (predicting the victory of the One and the fall of the machines), not in order to bring down the Matrix, but rather so that they can voluntarily disconnect themselves from the system, ensuring its stability while preventing its destruction. As discovered by Neo, the prophecy is "just another system of control." The role of the Architect is then to reunite the One with the Source and bring about the destruction of Zion. The pair together ensure that the Matrix is rebooted and the population of Zion starts over when necessary, thus bringing the cycle of the Ones full cirle and ensuring control over the humans for at least one more cycle.))
