ummm i find it a lil ridiculous that some of u guys seem to not have liked the original gi, maybe because it was too revealing or sexy or whatever but like i said in my original post, the gi came from the animatrix which i would also like to point out is written by andy and larry wachowski! do u think that they did not approve of that short film?

ok back to the peoples who seem to not like the original gi for whatever reasons. mmmm this is the matrix online! u certainly have the right to not like certain things within the game, but for to complain about a gi and want pants for it, because u think it may be more aesthetically pleasing while at same time not even truly realizing where the article of clothing came from to begin with leads me to believe that u dont care about the game changing into something that is not reminiscent of the matrix anymore.

it will start with little things and grow into much bigger issues.

i am against such ideas- i dislike even the thought of this game turning into some g-rated disney style parody of the matrix. which is what is happening. and it is because of people who do not like the gi for whatever reasons. what else i wonder do they not like?

the knife in the head animation which was the rooftop scene with neo and trinity in the first matrix? is it too violent?

what about 2 women kissing? persephone and niobe in enter the matrix

what about cake? all the sexy sounds u hear for eating it. definetly a creation of the merv  as u can see in matrix reloaded

i could go on and on and on

maybe we should shut up and not say anything as they remove more and more of the matrix from the matrix online

i do notice and am starting to have the opinion that some people might be playing this game who probably have never seen the trilogy. i think it is very funny but i know they exist; i can tell from way they talk.

but i want to remind them and we all should remind them

this is the matrix. it is a game based on a series of movies and short films. all of which were rated R for violent content, sexual behavior and explicit language.

if u got a problem with this game resembling the movies and short films, i ask u WHY ARE U PLAYING THE GAME?????

Anyways, the only thing people really have to argue about changing it back is it being a token tribute from Final Flight of the Osirus, but traditionally, something like that is more like a robe, not a Gi at all. It's something you'd see women wearing at a bath-house besides a Martial Arts Academy. And just for FYI, IRL Women do wear Gi's with pants, and yes, even so in 1999.

But I do see Pylats point, all people have said it "YOO LYK 2 CYBORZ!", I dont know about you but I know if I see a pair of digital legs, I think I can hold myself together.  Its all just enforcing the point that there is no real reason that anyone can think of that qualifys the change.

And yes, the odd person will like the new style, but what about all the people that liked it before hand?  Obviously we are just here to make up the numbers because no one actually cares about what we think.

Nobody here cares because we're all customers just like everyone else.  No one wants to hear complaints when they're perfectly satisfied themselves.  That's just human nature. 

It's like going to your favorite restaurant and sitting next to the guy who is perpetually griping about his over-cooked steak to the other patrons.  All you want him to do is shut up and leave, if he's so unhappy, so you can enjoy your meal without his ranting.

I digress.

Despite the objection of your peers, you should feel free to voice your opinions on things.  We may not care but I'm sure the "powers that be" do care.  I'm positive that many of the heated debates carried out on these forums over the years has helped forge the game.

Changes may not always take place but they all began with a gripe, imo.

BTW:  I actually do like the new Gi model.  I never wore them before because I hated them being pantless.  I appreciated the nod towards Final Flight but they were horrible looking.  I might actually wear them now. 

Interesting that most people who want to keep the Gi's with pants can only flame and flamebait and throw temper tantrums. Valid points only please.

From ALL the people I have talked to in game ONE PERSON liked the new Gi's, just have both models, or add a new stocking type as was suggested. Then people can wear the "Pants" with their miniskirts to cover themselves up.

Sorry if I sounded like I was going off half-cocked earier, but I'll admit, the gi's were a bit of a flashpoint for me when it comes to clothing styles.
