If it is Morpheus then it would seem the Machines have more to do with his "assasination" than they claimed. The question is, is it truly Morpheus, and if so, why did the Merv claim responsibility for his death?

I have never understood why people ask that. "Why would the Merovingian claim responcibilty for his death" Is it so hard to believe that he may have lied and only said that to gain more power? Or that he possibly believed he did kill him but could have been wrong?

But still just like with the other thre singals this does not prove him to be alive. Only that something has put his mark into the system and just like Neo's RSI whatever we saw was only a RSI. Which is just a shell for the mind within the Matrix and useless without.

but I'm still im a firm believer that he never died and these are all clues that will help us find him.

The figure you saw was just a fragmented reserve of a, at this point, virtually meaningless Residual Self-Image. The Code Pulse caused certain and unmistakeable rifts in the history of the code in that area, or a glitch, if you wish to be so declined.

It means nothing.

Pulling fragmented data that gave up a signal becon is a way of locating him. If the signal can be found in that area the it should also be able to be traced. Wondering aimlessly threw tunnel after tunnel gets you about as far as the first search did. No where.

Tell me then, if he is dead how do you explain the communications sent by him to Neopill?

Additionally this being one of the spots his beacon was detected would explain how his injured RSI was revealed. Yes Sykin IS correct this IS an event from the past, however old friend not from the distant past, no, it is from a past much more recent. A past after the supposed "death" of Morpheus. Proving that he is indeed, alive.

I think it's a little late for another coverup, Sykin. There is no more proof that this is a meaningless Residual Self-Image than there is that it is him. I have to disagree, Sykin. This means a great deal. This is more than a "light show". You can believe what the machine tells you, or you can think for yourself.
