Hello. My character's name is Dragoner. For those of you who know already, I used to be part of a great faction called "Sentinels". However, for some reason, members of the "Sentinels" faction have slowly been logging off the game, and are rarely seen anymore. These people are known as Alundra, xOUT, Exo101, Marky101, and Gn52 ( I hope I got your names right, if not you can complain to me by sending me an e-mail at [email protected]). And if you must know, this has been very hard on the faction leader, Giygas, who I believe is one of the greatest faction leaders I have ever met. He cares about every one of his faction members, and he would hate to see them disappear from the game completely.
Well, I left the Sentinels so that I could join the Zion faction known as Deja Vue to be with someone who was close to me. But then I got to thinking that the Machines have been such an important part of my life, that I decided to start a crew that would eventually be joined up with the "Sentinels" faction. I formed a crew that was already for Zion, but I had to have a crew that was affiliated with the Machines, so I went out in search of another crew that was affiliated with the Machines.
The first person I recruited was DarthRavven, who later left my crew. I recruited many other people after that and couldn't wait to join back up with the Sentinels. I always waited for Giygas to come on, but I never got in touch with him.
Two weeks after recruiting 7 members to my crew, I see him logged on, only it wasn't him. It was a very good friend of his. I asked what was going on with Giygas, and his friend told me that she had upsetting news; he might disband the faction. He was losing faith in it because so many people have left the Matrix Online game in place of something else. I was dissapointed in hearing this, but I knew that there had to be a way to prevent the Sentinels from being disbanded entirely.
So that's when I got the idea to form another faction in his honor for being the great faction leader that he was. I couldn't let him down after all that he has taught me and has done for me, and I would certainly feel bad for not doing anything. I told him I would name it "Sentinels", but I couldn't for the domain already existed. I desperately thought of a new name. And that's when it hit me! I decided to call my future faction "New Sentinels".
I'm sure after hearing this story you are drowning in tears right now, so grab a tissue or something and then get back to this. I am desperately looking for any Machine Crew Captains to band with me and start the faction that I wish to start. Should you decide to join, you can say to yourself, "Wow. I helped I guy I didn't even know by joining a faction his ex-member created in his honor. Without Giygas, none of us would be here!"
