Ok.
So for the past couple of days (Since Friday) I have been having serious lag problems. Infact it has become so bad that in PvP/duels/combat all my abilities lag and when I get IL'd I have to just watch myself die as I cannot activate any abilities and my screen is frozen, the only thing that shows is the damage that is being done to my RSI. And I'm getting sick of it. I just cannot PvP anymore, its just so bad.

I'm getting the Issue everywhere (Datamine, Richland, Downtown, International) and when I lag I have a Full Red lag bar. I have also tested my internet connection, re-patched the game, restarted my router, everything basically and the problem still remains. This leads me to be sure that it something to do with the MxO servers.

The issue that I'm having is also very similar to the downtown lag issue that people may remember. (Which was fixed last year) Which leads me to think that it could be to do with the NPC Pathing, (The same problem that caused the downtown lag issue) i'm thinking that it could be becuase of all the datamine NPC spawns this is lagging up the server like it did to downtown. This is only a theory.

I have CCR'd it, in fact I did that several hours and I have had no response. I also know that it is not only me that is having that problem. Most of my faction mates are having this issue and it is crippling their gameplay as well.

Something needs to be done.

And I'm on Recursion btw.

I believe TheHidden01 has had the same issues, he posted the copied ccr that he posted on Dragoon forums:-

Since the latest patch I am having these issues:-

-Logging in takes abput 5 minutes, I am getting stuck on loading character.
-Hand says I am on block when I am activating abilities on green.
-DE doesn't appear to wear off.
-Cannot reconstruct when dead, I am forced to alt-tab.
-Interlock is virtually impossible, as I am completely frozen, inside and when watching overs.
-Completely dissapearing characters, I am being attacked but cannot see them.

Now I have 2gb Ram, a decent graphics card, 2.2ghz processor, and never suffer problems, even before the patch I was fine. However the problems have steadily grown worse the longer I have played.

Is there anyway I can get some help with the issues?

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I have the same issues also, and I know The Leo has too which his thread is located here

He also posted this on our forums, which I think should be brought to light here:-

I have still got issues with my Interlocking lagging out and freezing which I had mentioned in my last CCR. The Leo posted a thread on DN1 called Glitching problems, and AltDimension has ccred, and these are not the only people who seem to have this issue.

I have heard of one theory that it could be the NPC pathing in Datamine, because of so many spawns, lagging out the server much like it did in DT. Judging by the problems on all servers recently I would say this could be a theory, but this is something I am not too sure of as I am not a pro at the technical gizmos.

I have tried toning down graphics, re-installing, re-patching, deleting, and even tried other characters, and every time the issues are still returning.

Can I receieve some aid on this?

I would imagine by now someone has responded to your ticket, but I don't know if you did an in-game one or a tech one (should be tech).  However, I'll run over and have one of the chaps in tech support take a look at this thread for you SMILEY

Thanks, But i'm still having the exact same problem.
The lag means that I cannot do anything in combat as all my out-of-IL and IL abs just lag so very bad.
And as for interlock I still just have to watch myself die at times.

There really is a problem and i'm certain thats its not mine. I've confirmed with TheHidden01 and others and they are still having this problem.

This is the entire CCR that TheHidden01 has posted on the Dragoon forums:-

2. Server you currently play on: Recursion
3. Problem(s) you are having including any error messages. What is the exact error message? Please be as specific as possible.

I am having severe lag when I interlock an opponent, this can be freezes, to slow time in tactic/styles change. I often take a very long time to load the game, and I have had problems such as animation slow times, such as block hand appearing when I am on green hand.

4. When did these problems begin?

The day the latest patch was released.

5. Have you made any recent changes to your computer and/or its connection to the Internet? Please be as specific as possible?

No, but after the problems started to occur, I restarted my router several times, which didn't fix the problem.

6. How are you connecting to the Internet? Do you do any connection sharing or use a home network? Router/hub/switch? What kind? Have your tried bypassing them just for troubleshooting? What was the result?

I use a router which is connected through the phone. I am with AOL, my company I use the phone with is BT.

Where are you connecting from(home/school/office)?

Home

7. What Operating System are your running? 98, XP, 2000 Professional?

Vista

8. What have you tried to remedy the problem?

I have tried things in the following order:-

Relogging;
Restarting PC;
Re-Patching MxO twice;
Re-installing MxO;
Deleting things off my PC, software such as media players/fraps;
Toning down the graphics in the Matrix Online, and tried a variety of different settings.
Tried restarting my router, and even contacted my routers company to get it completely defaulted to factory settings.

None of the above has worked, as asked I have enclosed the following items:-

DxDiag.txt file
MSinfo.txt file
ClientErrors.txt file

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

He has since then tried to delete files, and he also has tried updating his drivers, and STILL reports that the problem exists. This is a ccr that has been continuosly investigated and as yet has yet to be resolved. With the information that they recieved they showed no evidence of a problem with his machine, yet if there was, they have yet to reveal it to him.

I also have had lag issues since the new DM and patch were put in. As well as another faction mate.

 I had several rubberband issues in Richland since tha patch was put in and a few in DT.

Now it might not be the patch. Possible the hotfix messed things up for other cards? Since this hotfix wasnt downloaded by choice.

hmm,  I haven't had much problems although from time to time the lag meter maxes out when i'm standing in the building that has the proxy in it then I back away from the archivist a bit and the lag meter drops back down to normal.  another thing to note...  I haven't had any combat/IL issues except sometimes when i'm in IL something bugs and I get auto-withdrawn from IL but that was happening before update 58 so IDK.
