Yeah I'd love a most damage award for the Smith Virus event on vector.  I think Tseng got the killing blow and already has a ton of event rewards.  Meanwhile the most damage had to go to someone on my team of 4 since we got the CQ for the kill. The team consisted of Desc1ple (50), Apost1e (50), Darkkwave (50), and Noobhammer3000(36).  Our faction has no event rewards, and we out did everyone else in damage for that event and come up empty handed.  Oh well you win some and you lose some.

Oops, I forgot that a member of our faction on syntax got a reward for finding one of the Morph look-a-likes at the fake Morph hunt event.

there wasent prizes for them smith events, quit conplaining SMILEY

Well I could spam area heals?

And recontructing stops the flow of combat, a quick rez and they are back into the action.

Thats what I ment by my comment.

Reconstructing forces the dead to go through the process before they can return to combat. If your flagged and rezzing, the person deserves the rez. But if your blue rezzing your destroy any "ebb and flow " to combat.

Then it wouldn't be a *gasp* game mechanic! It's meant to rez people who die in missions (like that ever happens) so I highly doubt they can differentiate (I messed that word up) between Mission/NPC death and PvP death, without turning that freaking bug back on that perma-flags you.

Unless you want ALL rezzes to flag someone, in which case you can get the hell out of Recursion.

Nope. I just think its a rather crappy way to go about farming CQs. Sitting on a team blue rezzing.

I still only have 240cq....

I earned about 100 of them by fighting myself though.

Question regarding MxO story writing:

Do you know if the Wachowskis have set certain aspects and questions, like character backgrounds or fates, or elaborations of the universe, to be answered in MxO in a special way?

For example (I'm not asking about these particular things): Seraph's history, or Neo's connection to the Source in the Real or the nature of the yellow vision. Just the stuff I'm talking about.

Or did they just leave it open for Chadwick and the "team" to answer on their own?

Left it open as far as I know. There are evidently a few things established in the movies that they'd rather we didn't mess with too much, but I haven't heard that they had any particular goals in mind for the continuing story when they handed it off to Paul, other than the first year's "peace and what people do etc" theme that they gave him.
Hmm, maybe a bit clarification:

Was it like "don't mess with this stuff by explaining it for us, we might tell you later"? Or rather "look noobs, this is how it was in the movies and don't think about retconning it"?

By the way, you said yourself that the Assassin character or even Morpheus' death was their idea. Wouldn't that be something more particular? SMILEY

I'd go for your point if Cqs meant anything.

Who in their right mind farms CQ's?
All it does is raise a number on your details.

Hrm eh... A lot of people seem to assume that it'd be the Effectuator, but I can't say I really behave anything like him in real life. It would have to be someone who keeps their nose to the grindstone while most of the other team is out back sipping Coronas on a sunny Friday afternoon... Someone quiet, who secretly hates everyone and wants to take over so he can slaughter the slackers and tighten up the ship. Hm... Maybe Malphas?

That would be Flood.

Exactly, it is a little tally that gets you no recognition.  One guy on Syntax has over 23k cq (how I dont know) and I bet a lot of people here couldnt name him.

I, on the other hand, rarely PvP and if I do, I lag so bad it isn't very enjoyable, I make myself useful by rezzing, if they meant something I would be in my fighting gear earning them... but they dont... so I wont. SMILEY

Yes.

Malphas doesn't hate everyone, and besides...who care's what Malphas thinks?  He's a slave.  Flood's once overtly hateful behavior has/had been displayed in sly, subtle remarks and gestures.

No, it's not "he doesn't hate anyone". You don't know that he hates everyone, because he's quiet and does it secretly.
Even leaving out the possibility that this was a *hint*, remember that he tried a rebellion against a Merovingian, and was tortured upon failure. Maybe he hates the fact that he's a slave - of course, he can't know that he's also an important supporting character people care about SMILEY

Flood, I'd say, is rather pissed and contemptuous, than "hateful" - but hey, it was you who said "that would be Flood who hates everyone". Whatever it is, he expresses it in a creative, but hardly "subtle" way.
