## WinterBrood Fleet // New Zion
What is your stance on PvP?
Currently this will be an optional activity. MxO offers PvP and PvE gameplay, which our members can participate in freely. If the faction gets involved in serious warfare, we may need to call for a massive mobilization.
Can I join? How?
The type of player we are looking for would exhibit these traits: friendly, intelligent, mature, loyal, cares about role-playing, independent. If you believe you possess these traits, and want to apply for membership, click here. One of the best ways for us to get to know you is thru open communications on the forum. I would like to stress one point: we are looking for psychologically mature and reasonable individuals. This game attracts a lot of l33t haxors and immature power gamers. This is not the place for you. Join us if you value friendship, exploration and community over getting to level 50 the quickest. You can also contact any of the captains to join as well.
How is Winter Brood organized?
We will maintain a simple structure:
First Echelon: Commander
Second Echelon: Second in Command
Third Echelon: Ship Captains
Fourth Echelon: Ship Lieutenants
Fifth Echelon: Ship Crew
The captains will yield authoritative power over their crew. As Matrix faction commander, I fully intend to rely on these individuals to run the show and make independent decisions about their ships and crew. If the faction expands greatly and there exists a need to change ths structure, the option will always be available and explored.
Tell me about the top echelons.
First Echelon: LuciousBrujah
Second Echelon: DaJustifier
Third Echelon: Captains - responsible for organizing their crew
Fourth Echelon: Crew - the backbone of the organization. They have the most fun.
What is your position on espionage?
We practicite within the confines of the game. It is against our policies to spy on other factions, infiltrate their forums or sign up for membership with other factions for the purpose of gathering intelligence.
As a faction member, should I display preferred treatment to others of the Brood (vs. non members)?
Sure. We should be a tightly-knit community, and as such would place other members first. That said, I encourage courtesy and honor in your dealings with anyone. To be blunt, I can be fairly impatient with people who make others miserable, and while I don't want to tell anyone how to behave, this may not be the faction for you if you are a rude twit.
What kind of members are you seeking? Will I fit in?
The same type of people you want to be friends with. Friendly, intelligent, mature. We are most certainly not seeking juvenile, immature persons.
How do you become a captain in the Winter Brood faction?
The first step is to let the faction leader know about your aspirations. There are two ways to do so. You can specify that you want to be a captain to any of our current captains and they will let LB or DJ know or tell them directly. After this you will be added to the captains waiting list. The next time there is an opening for a captain position, people on the list will be considered for this role. Being on the list, however, is not enough. Potential captains are required to demonstrate a level of maturity and ability to lead. The faction leader will determine whether a captain is ready, and if the next captain in-line is not up to par, they will be skipped for a particular position (but considered for future openings, if they grow to fill the captain's shoes).
