I was interested to read this in the recent story summary:
"The Exile Rose, having heard that the intruders had left, took a bold trip from her station in Southard to the heart of Downtown with the help of a couple operatives. "
Check out Rose's missions if you have not already. They are some of the funniest! She keeps trying to earn the respect of her related Exiles, and keeps screwing up. I am sure other Exiles will eventually come in and take notice of her efforts to play in their league.
They may be "funny," but personally, they seem like a waste of an event when it's just observing some bubbly teenage girl run from subway to subway talking about her parents finding out that she's not where she's supposed to be...
I mean, it's a war and this is the most important thing happening?

The Rose event was pure awesomeness
When are we actually going to see more of this "war"?

I was actually looking quite closely at the Rose event in case there was anything there that might have been relevant to something currently going on or what might occur in the near future. I haven't seen anything as of yet, but Exiles haven't been a big part of the war, its possible that with Merv attention on the colony (or it was) and Machine attention on Zion the other Exiles could be planning something...Then again it could have been something that Rarebit did for a filler event utilising a character he could have a bit of fun with...
Well, here's everything in a nut shell: Filler event is filler. It's not much to get frustrated over.
I agree. It's meant to keep people preoccupied while the "real" story unfolds. Thankfully there isn't as much filler now as their used to be. I think.
