Operative,

Our routine surveillance of key hardlines throughout Megacity has reportedly seen an EPN Crusader known only as GreyMountain seemingly posting information to the phones.

We need you to ob....

Scratch that Operative.  We have received visual evidence confirming this report.  Standby...sending details now...

*You turn over the note to find what seem to be rules and regulations to some form of combat tournament.

"Broadcast Signal - Recursion

Date and Time - Saturday 22nd November at 3pm MCT (subject to change with little notice)

Location - TBC

Rules -

  • Operatives at or under the neurokinetic level 10
  • Any and all loadouts welcome (with following exceptions)
  • No Mobius Code, Repair RSI or similar allowed
  • No consumables permitted
  • Must die sitting in duel first

Depending on the number interested the tournament will either take the form of Round Robin or Elimination.  The format will be decided on the date of the event.

Operatives of all broadcast signals and neurokinetic ability may support the application of another player.  ((Players of Vector and Synatx can join in.  And anyone can make an alt, provided it is mentioned below.))

Now, to sweeten this deal I think you're going to need some sort of reward. No?  I thought as much.  So without further ado I propose rewards for the top 3 Operatives.

1st - $50,000,000 info alongside me as your Mentor and Guide to this new world.

2nd - $20,000,000 info

3rd - $10,000,000 info

Those Operatives interested please visit the DN1 relay.  You're operator will give you more information if that reference is lost on you.  Within that relay you will find this message again.  Please post your name (and supporters name if possible.)

I look forward to seeing you there."

Well Operative.  We have little information of GreyMountain.  Our records seem to suggest he popped out of nowhere about 6 months back.  If you're interested then I won't hold you back.  Just tread carefully.  But the money sure could come in handy, even if it is just virtual.  Would certainly loosen a few lips if we ever needed to.

((I don't expect people to want to have me as their mentor or guide for an alt.  I'm sure you're quite capable of levelling alts if needed.  It is really there for RP purposes. But, I'm not one to back away from my word.  So if you do want to level the character I will do all I can to help.  But, I do ask that I am able to use that characters name in my future RP and events if or when needed.))

((EDIT- Images didn't want to show.  Seem to now.))

I can now confirm that the location for this event will be Club Parallaxis. I've had very little interest so far.

I will however still accept entries upto and including the start of the event. You can even turn up unannounced.

Well the turn out was sadly quite low.  But three potential operatives turned up.  FatalError, AngelicDream and Lynzy675.

A round robin took place, each operative fighting the other two operatives.  The winner of each contest was the best out of 3 rounds.

And the results stood at.

1st FatalError

2nd Lynzy675

3rd AngelicDream

Congratualtions to all three, and I shall be seeing FatalError very soon for his induction session soon.

Congrats to the winner

And this is a really cool idea Grey, shame you couldn't get that many folk, but i guess at the moment it's hard to fin people around unfortunatly....also alot of things that get posted on the boards get missed by alot of people (especially new players) so probably best to go scouting the Matrix.

Anywho if you do anything like this again, i'll try and get the word out cause tournaments for lowbies are something you don't see to often
