Why not allow the use of the /duel command in a pacification zone, then set the a few of the dojos as pacification zones

Not sure who this Revxzfxdfzcxz guy is, but he's bumping a thread that was made well before Pacification Zones were introduced to Vector. If people want to duel badly enough on Vector, there are pacification zones to do it at.

people who duel use exploits and macros in combat then cry when their opponant uses consumables.... which are part of the game....BTW

Do yourself a favor...do not ask me to duel....

PS... the only time I will not use consumables is in a tournament that lays out rules against them in the beginning...

I'm gettin my say on this topic before it gets locked for Necro.

PvP is overrated, personally if you can use teamwork to kill an opponent fine, but I've only seen one or two examples of that in the whole game, what we have atm is "chase the guy till he's out of emote distance or too far from my friends" and "he's in IL, shoot him" In the end I'm not a Mara C fan, I'll go there on the odd occasion if I want to do a little sniping but I'd prefer to find a 50 standing alone and release everything I have on him and move on to another hardline and another 50 standing alone.

On vector it's generally known that when /duel'ing you don't pop a pill, TB, HB or get buffed (unless it's a self buff build) saying that people who duel use exploits is complete BS, with not a scrap of evidence to prove it, and last time I checked Macro's are allowed ingame for fighting, although I wouldn't recommend u do it since if something goes wrong and you need to rearrange yer attacks, I wouldn't like to start scrolling through abilities tab.

I enjoy fighting Tytanya and all of a sudden I see her in area chat with:

Tytanya: ss/use 5; 9

Hehe. Macro slip-up ftw!

Either way, the Vectorians are good in PvP (oh.. so clear) but in 1 on 1 situations there are some things they can learn from duels. Tourneys on Vector must be one hell, so Tytanya's idea is great.

you sure about that??
