There is an art to sowing chaos. You cannot simply smash random elements together and hope to generate a spark. You must give them what they want to believe, while keeping it under your own control. A very useful skill...

Somewhat confusing event from respects to what was going on. This was spoken about on the recent Podcast from RMC:Terminal.

Great, you managed to distract them so that the Commandos could get in to be killed for nothing. Whoo-hoo!

Edit: Okay, I was a wee bit harsh. This event itself looked to be very fun.

I still don't get why they did this event.

Merovingian: Go cause chaos!

Mervs: Okay!

Done.

You have failed, the Commando Assassin was stopped and the kill code is gone, Oracle now has the key.

Ok this was a good attempt at a distraction, many were fooled, but in the end the end result didn't justify the means, The real Commando wasn't very effective and did not last long I've been told, in fact didn't the Kid end up having the bullet/killcode deposited in his chest? (Good to see that the Kid still does what he's good at...getting shot)

This is what you get for following the Merovingian. Promises that your actions will contribute to attaining a goal and whilst you all did your job, that I cannot deny, the goal was not attained.
Maybe the Merovinigian should have trusted the real mission to you and not one of the Generals Commando's, maybe then the goal would have been achieved.

...And just what was your idea of "something fun" with the lady, monsieur?

(SMILEY

I enjoyed this event, although I'm not entirely sure at what point it really ended. Good change of pace, and an interesting one at that.)

Hmm, those commando models must make some pretty nice screenshots.

*grins*  Thank you, hun.

((It was a fun event!   I wasn't really sure what was happening at the time either am only slightly more in the loop now, unfortunately.  I was amused at Devistate's version of a "distraction" though... SMILEY ))

(( for those not following. The machines were distracted by this operation so that the commando could use the key to get to the Oracle and use the kill-code... butin another event Kid took the bullet (he's ok) and saved the oracle... the Oracle now has the key))

((THANK you!  SMILEY  I'm not around enough to keep up with the nuances of MxO at the moment, so I'm very glad to know what was happening.  I appreciate it! *bows her head to phi* ))
