It might be easier if someone figured out finally that although difficult, working together with the Machines instead of destroying them would be a better solution.

Yes because destroying your own race is so much better?....We never said we wish to destroy the Matrix just give a choice to everyone in The Matrix

How is working with the Machines, laying down your arms and cooperating with them, destroying Mankind? If anything it would contribute to the eventual prosperity of Man and Machine, but we would have to build cooperation and trust on both sides.

Every person is given a choice, otherwise the system would collapse like the first few versions. Yes it is subconcious, but by saying you want to give them the choice, are you stating that the subconcious is irrelevant?

How is making us more confortable, giving us an acutally feel of freedom, so we can actually breath again, a point to declare war? Apart from what's being explicitly said in the truce, this war is just stupid.
How about the ability to attack and retreat to a fortified base with impunity? That is what this is about. If you needed more space why not tell the Machines? Why build a city with intense defences? Why entrench yourselves deeper? In preparing and expecting an attack, you've only gone and turned it into reality...

You prepare to defend yourselves for a war, So do the Machines. The only difference is The Machines consider the best defence is a strong offence.

People have a choice of whether they want to be a simulation, if only at a subconscious level, its where they feel comfortable. Only 1% choose not to accept the simulation. That isn't a figure plucked out of the air by the Machines, its a statistical fact. So in the terms of the Truce they had allowed those who rejected the simulation to awaken from it. It us understandable that Zion would not be able to hold all of the awakened and freeborn for long, it is only logical that the Machines would know this, and would probably have done nothing if a new city was built, as long as there wasn't a possibility of launching a strong military strike...

If you want to keep your silly standpoint, be it. Zion has yet to be able to launch a strong military strike. The way you're thinking, this stupid war can take a hell of a lot time.

Zion and E Pluribus Neo continue to entertain the illusion of hope and unity...

Pathetic.

Coming from a Cypherite? It's you who wants to dream a dream again, not us.

Oh an by the way, Machinists and the Machines should stop supporting them already, now that they are officially ready to kill bluepills. Your attitude keeps getting annoyingly ingorant.

EDIT: word order -_-

Just because Zion has not yet launched an attack does not mean that they are incapable of it.

At least a few members of EPN are capable of rational thought, perhaps there is hope some will "jump ship" before their quite obviously insane leader does something... rash.

Being capable also involves that the majority of the Zion fleet is perpared for full scale war in the real, including killing dozens of friends on other Hovercrafts they might encounter. Although many say "they are ready for war", Zion is undoubtely not ready for a full scale attack.

Neo gave his life to end the last war, I think it only right and proper the Kid leads by example and takes EPN the same route.

I don't mind who ends this war, as long as it doesn't involve the killing of bluepills, eradication of the Machine and Zion cities and it's population.

By virtue of that comment, You Sir, are one of the enlightened minds who will help to end this war. It is people with this goal in mind that will invariably bring about the end of this sad state of affairs. Unfortunately people like this are few and far between.
We have seen the problems, now what we need are solutions, realistic solutions.
