A training exercise in Morrell - Recursion - 4/5/06

Having had the opportunity to run a field exercise with some of you a few days ago, I can tell you that I came away very impressed with your combat prowess, your knowledge of the city, and your zeal in fighting for Zion. The parameters of the exercise, a timed hunt for street scum belonging to the Warriors gang, were designed to be challenging even for high level operatives, but I was truly surprised and impressed to find that quite a few of the operatives present completed the exercise successfully, many with significant time so spare.I personally saw Zion operatives engage ruthless enemies with no hesitation again and again, and I was fortunate enough to have a number of operatives escort me through the labyrinth of alleys and streets in Morrell, using their street knowledge to guide me to the greatest concentrations of gang members.

Furthermore, although a number of the Frenchman's followers attempted to disrupt the proceedings, they were quickly dispatched by the alert operatives guarding the rooftop helipad.

Thank you all for taking the time to engage in what was for me a very instructive exercise, and congratulations on exceeding my already high expectations. You are a force to be reckoned with. I offer my particular congratulations to operatives Symmetric of "The Kings of Never," Premier of "The Devoted," and Llevame of "Clan Darkstar" for being among the first to complete the exercise. Thanks to liaison officer Merrit, for organizing the exercise, and to Sgt. Hartman, who warmed up the troops.

I look forward to fighting by your side in the coming war.

It's truly a shame to see Zion operatives falling over themselves to please the General. Have the LED Agents been forgotten? Remember Neurophyte, who many of us guarded with our very lives against the LED Agents? Have you forgotten poor Vashuo, who was murdered a day after the LED Agent, Agent_1, promised to have him killed in order to stop Neurophyte from using her killcode on them?

Have you forgotten how the General took fragments of Neo's RSI and created the abominations known as the N3O Agents?

You may have forgotten, but I have not, and I will not.

"Preparing for the coming war"...? Yeah. Preparing for the war that he will create. A war in which he's already studied a very naive enemy. I'm sure Niobe would say that she's using the General... but really, what have you learned about him and his men? Take what you know about him, and weigh it against what he has already learned of you. Not quite the balanced scale... is it?
