This is the error I get when I try to connect through my campus's network. The campus network is set up and secured by Resnet for most accesses (i.e. dorms) that prevents connection to a large majority of ports (keeping from playing online or even connecting to Xfire/Steam [somehow, Impulse and Spore work]), but in some buildings like computer labs there is a different configuration that allows for play over the internet, especially for the students who can't be kept away from World of Warcraft for too long without going insane. But for those students that can connect to WoW, I can't connect to MxO.

Is this a technical problem on client side or server connection side?

Some idiot called Jeffers is wandering these forums for a month for whatever reason.

Most likely it is still a port is being blocked by the campus network. MxO needs TCP ports 80, 5190, 11000, and 10000 and UDP ports 10000 and 11000. WoW on the otherhand needs 3724, 6112, and 6881-6999.
