A windstorm took out the power to our Seattle studio and most of the surrounding East Side last night, and I found the power still out this morning after fighting my way there through confused traffic. Walrus was there holding court in the lunch room with a few diehard survivors, mostly because there was no point in them going home, where the power was also out.
Now that I've managed to claw my way back to Seattle, where we have amenities such as electricity, I can pass along Walrus' message that he probably won't be able to post a Looking Glass article today. Walrus should be back in action next week.
I, however, will not, as starting Monday I'm technically on vacation for the rest of the year, scheduled to return the 2nd of January. Yes, that means no Live Events for the rest of the year (and it looks like the one we had scheduled for today will be, err, underpowered, to say the least).
I'm going to see if I can sneak in on Monday anyway to get the screenshots from yesterday's Live Events sorted out and posted, and to set the Pacification Zones back up on Vector.
Enjoy your holidays, simulated snow, and electricity, everyone! See you next year!
