Annoying launcher issue.

I am using vista, but i ran the program in administrator mode, it patched, i have an account, i picked a server, it said i could play on high graphics, then the screen went black as if it were loading up, then took me back to my desktop.....ive tried so many times.....i dont know if these forums are dead but i have no where else to go! Please help!

Oh great. So i just reset my computer, and when i load up the launcher and pick a server, and press create, the whole launcher freezes up.Do you usally have to go through an obstacle course to play this game?

The launcher sometimes does freeze, no idea why really but just make sure to select your sever first and then click 'create' or 'select' right away, I've found if you hover over the button and let the information about pressing the button begin to come up there is a higher chance of it freezing.
