I'd like to have the choice. I'd like to decide for myself if I wanted to read a thread that listed it (that was clearly marked with a spoiler warning) or not. Then again I'd like to know so I could decide if it were a mask I wanted to set aside time to try and get or not. Not all of us can spend every day and night glued to MXO. A little bit of information would help us plan our limited game time far better. Especially as it's a rare mask. God only knows how many days you'd have to spend to try and get it to drop. Having the choice of deciding if you want to know what it is before the fact would help far more than hinder any fun. Once again, you wouldn't have been forced to read it if you didn't want to know.

Unfortunately, I would. This is an MMORPG, which means there's more than you and I, and people would have posted the picture in other threads before the night's end. Thus, ruining it for ME and others who didn't want to know, therefore making more flames and such appear on the boards.

If you can't play night and day to get the mask, tough. I can, and I want to find out what it is. If you want the devs to spoil it, you can sure as hell wait a day if you don't get it and see it when people make sigs out of it.

Besides, it'll be like System Shades and such. You'll only need to wait a few hours for someone to post in General Discussion "First to get .... !" and then you'll know what it is.

Yeah and who needs a picture of it? Simply post its name. End of. If you don't want to know then stay away from the forums for a day - go do your school work, or play the game. See it works both ways. I know your next response will basically boil down to "But I want to eat my cake and keep it!" so no need to bother.

Look at it this way, Chuui:

If LESIG's identities became a simple matter of choice, eventually someone would simply begin using the knowledge in casual conversation, which isn't cool for people who chose not to learn the identities.

Or if you choose to read a book from beginning to end instead of skip to the end like someone else and he casually remarks about how Gandalf died or something, would you even bother keep reading, knowing the ending? (True story on my part, :P)

You generalize too much Chuui, and you have done what you are foretelling I will do, so..

Picture.. name.. same thing in this sense. See, if the devs went out of their way and marked every topic with *spoiler* on it that had the name or picture, I'd be cool, but the damage has been done already. I think, in the end, it's THEIR decision on what is shown/takenout/putin.

Though, we have the same argument. You with the surprise, me with /face.
