I still think that Walrus should get a rotator, the lazy git.  All the sigs are top notch.

Nah, man. I agree with the others. I say Walrus deserves a rotator for all the great art that's been presented here. The work you did on your entry is undeniable. Heck I'll host the rotator if he needs me to. Everyone that entered did a fantastic job.

Hmm... I'm not seeing it. Yes, it is Pyraci, and we all love Pyraci's work, but I can't... Agree. Am I missing something about it? It just seems like a normal screenshot of Downtown with Bank Gothic font in a corner. Is it really actually a GIF? What happened?

I personally thought Traxada's entry displayed both expert craft and hard work. And it literally defines what "The Walrus" is. I'm not going to compare Pyraci's and Traxada's entries because the comparisons can be made at first glance in terms of quality and style that's inherit to both of the artists, and it just seems to me that...

And, nevermind. This is bordering on unreasonableness. And at the end of the day, this really doesn't mean anything. Good show to everyone.

A rotator would not be a bad idea; that's what I did for my competition (Just offered a prize for the top three).

Well said. I don't think there ought to be such a controvery over this. It's a shame that there is, and I can see where it originates from, and I can certainly sympathise, but it's all in good fun.

I voted for Traxada, truth be told, as he put an evidently huge amount of time and work into the piece. I think that, in this case, overrides relevancy. Not to say it isn't relevant, but some others may be more 'executive' and 'Administrative' and suit the needs of Walrus more. But when all is said and done, it's a single vote that defines them. A single person. Not a percent.

Still, to a rotator I say!

tbh I think that for them to get here is good enough, it would have been good enough for me at least. I think we have different kinds of artists, we have people who do it to win, to gain something and we have artists who do it for the fun of it.

My art thread rarely gets a single post, some would have taken a hint and given up but I don't want to be the best graphics artist out there, I get fun and enjoyment from doing the image and it's a bonus if people like it, I'm sure it's the same with a lot of other people out there. it's just voting for an image can get really competative I know that all the artists here do it for fun I personally don't like to enter this kind of "Competition" because as we've just seen it's turned nasty, as I could have easily told people due to it being for the "Big Cheese".

If I had acutually voted, it would be for riacs, simply because it was just different. although all the sigs were very nice

yeah...

I don't submit work in contests for this. Hell, I don't even submit entries with much confidence in winning. I merely try to give people things to think about. Yes it is a shot of downtown with Bank Gothic font up against a digital painting of Walrus. I voted for Traxada's sig because I like his work and I don't look at my work as being "better" or "not as good" as anyone else's. Obviously, the sentiment is that Traxada's sig should be used to represent Walrus because it's more appropriate, more accurate, better fitting, and more deserving for the Director and Community Relations Manager of The Matrix Online.

With that said, thank you for allowing the all the great work here to be displayed. Regardless of whether Traxada's work or mine is used as the official sig, I'll not be entering anymore contests here because I feel that my submission brought this whole thing to absurdity, and wasn't in the best interest of the community.

I enjoyed them all for different reasons.
The second to last one especially 'cause it reminded me of the old Gameboy style ( and if memory serves me correctly, a matchin' avi SMILEY )

I may have put some work into my submission, but so did every other artist here. So I am no different from them. Votes count and they went to Pyraci. He deserves the win.

Now lets move on shall we? A new day ahead, featuring cheese toasties and a sunset!

Oh balderdash! (I have always wanted to use that in a sentence) You have as much right to enter as anyone else. This simply got out of hand a little bit. No-one should be dishearted, as Trax said.

Now, as he also said, let's move on. I could go for the Cheese-ness.
