Idalia and me decided that Recursion needs a good MA tourney again where people can join and participate for fun.

This is my first time doing this so it may be a bit unorganized the first time, but I promise to try my best, and make this a regular thing. Below are some of the rules, they may be subject to change, and new ones may be added. Hosted by Idalia and Aeolon92

Rules:

-No sleepwalker items, Panacea, Health Pill(s)/Booster(s), Tactic Booster(s),Mother Coat or Morbius.

-No Hybrid loadouts (MA+ Patcher, etc.)

-No "serious" trash talking, joking is fine

-Must die before a match

-Match will be best out of 5. Three wins is win by default.

-Have fun!

I don't have a problem with Mobius Code, you are right - most people do have it by now.

As for the other stuff, it usually goes without saying for those of us who duel with MA frequently; but yes, they will be added to the list of rules as well. 

How about we see real skill? Which means no special clothing allowed. Only enhanced, armoured or (in this case uselss) shielded (which 99% of all MAs nowadays will undoubtly already have problems with, especially with their IS consumption). If we, on top of that eliminate tactic switching (experienced MAs already know the difference in damage of all MA abilities on speed, power and grab on the different LOs (KungfuGM, KarateGM and AikidoGM; so noticing if someone used tactic switch wouldn't be 100% but it's recognizable) then we'll really see who CAN do MA seriously and who can't.

But then again, now MAs only consist of tactic switchers (over 50% grab/power) and IS regen hungry people so I doubt anybody would ever consider doing a tourney after these rules.

Alright thanks for the extra rules Alt, and yeah, I guess mobius should be allowed.

That's a good idea Godgiver, maybe we can make a special tourney like this one day, would be cool.

You DO know that those two would be naturally exclusive, if we enforced that rule, right? Changing clothing under closed trenches is easy and unrecognizable. A GI is a "closed trench" and thus would make the rule you want unenforceable.

Do you want another thread for all this crazy no clothed dueling?

Also might want to ban archive rewards, just becuase it makes the effect of Machine Gun Fists useless.

As does Compel Close Combat, Prison Mastery, Intensify Damage, and whatever.

If people want to waste their memory space or spend their time to farm a particular clothing item or ability to adapt a certain tactic against someone else's tactic it should be allowed.

I was able to catch the end of this tonight. Great fights had by all. The weather became a little poor towards the end, though.

Atlhough, I hope I will be able to catch future iterations of this event.
