i havent been reading the forums (because since the merge theres been too much to sort through) so i dont know if someones posted this already but....

doesnt it seem like every change thats been made since the soe takeover has made this game worse? aim gone. world merge. live events gone.

there are now too many people to make friends without getting ganked mid-conversation and its impossible to keep up with old friends since my in game buddy list doesnt work. the few player sponsered events ive been too have gotten raided within minutes of starting.

is this just my own bad experiences or are there other people that are feeling a little discouraged by soe's "improvements"?

Ok its probably my fault cause I didn't clarify. Look here, AIM gone
was neccessary. Its agreement between WB and whoever and its all
technical. It is not SOE's fault, they have their own chat system
anyways so they incorporated it in. And the only noteworthy thing about
AIM is talking to real friends and seeing what characters are on. Not a
big deal. Secondly, if you want to live in a desolate world where its
empty everywhere except Mara Central, you're one of the few. Now since
you are on Vector I assume you were on a hostile server before.
Obviously, you weren't on Enumerator and weren't ganked nearly enough
to drill into you that, Hostile means watching your back at all times.
And if you are getting ganked in mid convo why don't you find a safe
place to meet or talk through tells. Go on Recursion, you can make
loads of friends and not have to worry about getting ganked. The point
is, now there is a healthy population in the game making it more
immersive, not just the same Vendors and NPC's. And concerning your
player events being raided, seriously what server were you on before
this? Why does it have to be SOE's fault if some guys wanna go raid a
player event? Loads of people raid just for getting their name
remembered. I'm happy to at least see some changes going on for better
or worse, I'm tired of this game being at a virtual standstill for 5
months.

Now you sound like an amateur Anti-SOE warrior, but I assume that you
really just wanted to hear what people have to say. Otherwise, this is
usually where I began my rampage on people who just like to hate SOE.

How was the merger bad ? Before the merge there were 9 servers with hardly any one in them, makig it look dead.i say that was 1-0 to SoE. Live events are not gone. There will be less live events but they are adding new content to the game so the isnt a "i only play when there is an event" game. 2-0.

If you cant take dying now and again then you joined the wrong server bro. this is a Hostile server. PvP can happen anywhere at any time apart from the loading area.Maybe you can contact ppl from there?

As for your buddy list not working you should submit a petition about that.

and as for the player events being raided /shrug some people are asses but its their game, they pay for it and they can play it how they like.

so all the crap thats been piled on recently is coincidental? either way its upsetting.

i didnt hate soe before now but its been looking like theyve taken my
favorite mmo and drove it into the ground. if soe really has nothing to
do with that then thats fine i still feel like the games getting ruined.

as far as ganking goes ive only been killed 4 or 5 times since the
world merge. because i stick to low populated HLs. so im not throwing
this notion out there for MY sake. i just thought maybe there were
other people on this server who might like things a little quieter,
thats all.

Yeah well those "other people" sure aren't saying anything here. And
SOE has driven your favorite MMO in the ground? What about Monolith.
Where were your ignorant *CENSORED* comments then? For 5 months they have made
the game worse and worse and worse. Eventually, they sold it off cause
they are USELESS. How in the hell people say SOE has ruined the game is
beyond me. Has everyone just forgotten about how Monolith casually f'ed
the game over patch by patch, bug by bug?

ignorant *CENSORED* coments? nice. just cant go a whole post without insulting someone....is that what the trash talk is for?

and ive been here since the begining of the game(not beta but still)
and i played just about every other day and enjoyed it. now i play one
or two days a week and if the one or two friends i talk to out of game
arent on its not even worth trying. i used to be able to find and
connect with kids ingame if i had no one to mission with. now its just
a bunch of 12 year olds brought on from enum and the lvl 50s that this
game has been made to cater to starting full scale wars. it just seems
that the game going down in flames has been due to the soe crossover.
but i dont know that could just be what it looks like on the surface...

i was trying to share my opinion of how the game has been going and you
jump down my dang throat. calm down man not everyone is into lvl 50s
pwning other lvl 50s nonstop for hours and hours. this forum can
reflect more than one set of views without vector turning into a "soft"
server.

please just dont reply at all if the only thing youre going to do is make snide comments its a waste of both of our time.

Wasn' t ment to hurt your feelings but hey if it did thats a bonus. you said not everyone is into pwning lvl 50's for hours well some people are.its what keeps the game going for me.

i just dont agree with your reasons for not liking SoE. SoE are changing the game for the better man. i dont know what server you came from but i'm sure it was dead. and thats why the merged. maybe upgrade your computer ? i'm not going to repeat my reasons for liking SoE. If you dont like SoE then stop giving them money, its simple cancel your accout if you think they are driving the game into the ground.
